Mask is effective. The coronavirus is indeed very small just 0.1 micrometer smaller than N95 pore; but dont forget that this virus need to live in droplet and will spread only through droplets! and the droplet particle is much larger and will be screened by the mask.
Nope. Virus don't need droplet to transmit. Virus mainly transmits as free floating particles in the air. There is no real world evidence that suggests mask reduces virus. States in the US that wear mask have just as many cases per capita as states in the US that don't wear mask.
