a) They have their own machinery which they lease long term
b) They get in long term Management contracts with Government Bodies
c) They hire local Labor force, Train them
d) They Organize, collection of waste
e) They are 100% Professional




Guarantee is they are successful in Lahore

Karachi isn't single city, its divided in many districts. Some are under PPP/Sindh gov control and some under MQM/KMC. Not to forget army cantonments. All three have to clean them on their own. Turkish company will only work in districts in under PPP control. Not sure which ones from this map these are.

Probably baloch/sindh Lyari areas and few others are under PPP control.

Presently , the city is "Broken" it is simply as that - need professional companies to come take over management

a) They take the Contract 10 years
b) They hire local workforce
c) They bring their own Machines
d) They bring their own collection bins
e) They organize the garbage collection

The city can become active to , charge Tickets financial penalties on garbage throwers

50,000 Water Tankers are dispatched daily in Karachi to distribute water by Tankers instead of water pipes , they charge up to 10,000 rupees , per delivery , that is about 200 million dollars for 365 days

Lahore is at the bank of river ground water is good and in abundance

Notice Malir river passes thru the city and also there is Hub Dam outside Karachi
My family have home around this federal cantonment area near cricket stadium

They charge 5,000 to 10,000 rupees when my parents visit Pakistan to deliver water
Many times you have to find someone with a connection to find you person/tanker

Look....... all these thing matter to investors

a) Cleanliness of cities
b) Water
c) Police / Safety on roads

The map above shows segregation but Karachi is 100% mixed society but their is no water and their is no service / cleaning

1 God damn tanker ...last 2.5 weeks per home
There is a massive subculture of money collection from residents of Karachi

This Tanker system was introduced in the 1990's when the water stopped coming in people's homes and instead of fixing the pipelines and supplies

Karachi water board started to sell water in Tankers there is never a shortage of water at water pumps

They claimed it was a temporary measure till the "Engineers" fixed pipelines

All the money collected by these tankers just goes in private people's pocket

Last time I was in Pakistan around 2000's I remember water coming thru It used to come for 2 days or so, after that every time my parents visited Karachi / Pakistan they always stated they had to buy water with water tanker

I have conversations with my parents now and then

a) Pakistan is still the same as it was in the 80's, Karachi is still the same
b) Same broken traffic system
c) Same graffiti
d) Same broken buses
e) Crumbling health system
f) Still no water!



This issue with Water also happens in Rawalpindi where my family is also located in from Mother's side after Islamabad was created they stated, Rawalpindi old city started to receive less and less water, a home well was dug and then it became empty

My parents are fully aware who Seikh Rasheed is and his Lal Hawaili being in neighborhood or close proximity, I had to open the Google map to figure out how far he lived from our residence in old Rawalpindi

Over there scenes are people wait line for water, to fill buckets and created rooftop water storage areas as water only comes 2 hours every day

Then I looked at the map and asked ....this Terbela dam is right across Rawalpindi why is there no water being provided?

At least there is no water mafia there, they do release water for 2 hours and residents fill up their supplies in those 2-3 hours time frame


But when you go to Islamabad, posh areas, new area lush green no shortages of water



The saddest part about Pakistan is every day Millions gallon of water just goes into Sea'
It just flows thru country .. and falls right into Sea .....just like that

The Government of Sindh offered on Monday a Turkish company to remove garbage from Karachi.

Officials of the Turkish company, OZPAK J V, met Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and Minister for Local Bodies Nasir Hussain Shah at the CM House on Monday.

Speaking to the media, Shah said the company would be tasked to lift garbage and clean the roads. He said six garbage transfer stations (GTSs) will have to be made for this purpose.

The chief minister said the Turkish company would transport garbage to these stations.
