What's new

Simorgh SLV is ready for launch !

.
6 years passed since simorgh was unveiled. what happened all this time? no progress? some friends and compatriots were sharing heroic stories about tehrani moghaddam and his final project and how after few months his students completed the project! but it seems reality is something else.. after 6 years they are going to have a test lunch for simorgh SLV.

well guess what happened is that we still must learn a lot on how to work with materials and how made new Alloys.
we can't still make a cryogenic engines because our alloys are not on par for the job,we cant build a jet engine again because of our alloys, in last years we were developing those areas but still we have a long way to go.

Alloys regarding cryogenics for rockets will give you results much earlier than those for jet engines....because former goes through significantly less cycles than the latter.

It is the creep and advanced thermal mitigation design in jet engines that make the superalloys so difficult to master given the cycles you want to extract from the design (not one time use)....especially to leapfrog quickly to the most current generation in use and next generations being developed.

Mate , How do you know about the dummy sat ? I mean should we track it after launch ? No official mentioned it .Maybe it's just testing the first stage with a dummy second one .Just like the first test of Safir .

Both stages are ready ...

You are talking about two different stuff !

Ghaem is a solid fuel SLV ... Unlike simorgh !

You should know that , some tests take so long & a simple problem postponing whole project !

You won't get disappointed at the end ...

How about the sat ? I am sure if there be a sat ,Let's say dummy , they name it something. The officials even didn't mention the word " dummy " or " payload " .

The problem about ghaem has nothing to do with alloys or cryogenic stage !

The problem is political !

What will happen if we pull out a solid fuel monster out of the hat !?

USA will start crying about the evil plans of iran !!!

This is not the first time !

well after implementation of JCOPA they only can crying if we use it to launch satellites .
