Similarities Between Iran and Pakistan

. . . . . .
Kalash are descendants of ancient Greek and came with Alexander and then just stayed here.
Actually that's questionable. Are you also aware of the large population of greeks that was forceful moved by the persians to Pakistans north west. Also parts of Afghanistan and the other central Asian countries. Some of the pakhtoon tribes like the khattak have sizable greek genetics.

No, in terms of race Afghan Pashtuns+Baloch+Indics and Indian Punjabis+Kashmiris are far more similar to us.
I think the Kashmiris in Indian occupied Kashmir are similar to us.

But I disagree with you about Indian Punjabis. Indian Punjabis have now intermarried with Hindi speakers, Biharis and Bengalis from India.

Even Indian Punjabis are losing their similarities with Pakistani Punjabis.

But most of Pakistanis are the native people of this land who have been living here for thousands of years.

Most Pakistanis are a mix of foreign invaders + locals.

Yes, Indian Punjabis have been losing a lot of their similarities with us, but honestly, a lot of them do still look like us when they take off their turbans and put on the same clothes.

indian Punjabis make up less than 3% of the indian population. Pashtun and the Baloch have their origins from older Persian tribes. They have a high fusion of Iranian dna.

They also make up less than 3% of india's population. Therefore any similarities with them is fast diminishing.

Hence why I singled them out rather than saying Indians as a whole.

You are confusing Iranic with Persian. They are not the same. Persians are a subset of Iranics.

Valid point. Indian Punjabis make less than 3% of Indian population. And also those Indian Punjabis have married South Indians like Tamils, and East Indians like Bengalis.

Time for people to smell the coffee, whatever similarities we had with Indians during the British Raj era is over now.

We were completely different for much of the Muslim rule over the region. We spoke Farsi, we ate meat, we were aligned with the Muslim conquerors, our women covered up, etc. It was only near the end of the Mughal rule that the assimilation of Muslims started, and the British Raj furthered that by banning Farsi.

Thankfully, partition has given those of us lucky enough to live in what is now Pakistan the chance to go back to the way we were, but I'm not quite sure that's going to happen. What seems to be happening is that the differences are creeping in again, but are less based on being Muslim and more based on the cultural identities of the region we inhabit.
