Yes, Indian Punjabis have been losing a lot of their similarities with us, but honestly, a lot of them do still look like us when they take off their turbans and put on the same clothes.

It depends. I've seen some that do, but I agree that most don't.

Yes, I also think that ancient Indians have some connections with Indonesia. Like in Bali there are Hindus. But overwhelming population of Indonesians embraced Islam when they saw the first ray of light through the Arab traders who used to follow the Islamic principles of trade from the holy Quran and Sunnah.

Islam came from top to bottom in Indonesia actually. And most of early convert at grass roots level though Islam ritual is easy to be performed and not that expensive compared to Hindhu, as mostly the early missionaries of Islam here is actually Gujarati and Chinese Muslim trader not the Arabs.

That's interesting but most of my Indonesian friends and many scholars as well tell a a very different story but yours can be also be true at the same time for certain parts of population.
