Sikhs, Kashmiris demonstrate before EU parliament in Brussels

Don't really think Khalistanis and loony wannabe-Arabs count as anyones from our country.

Goes both ways.

Muslims were slaughtered too..I don't know if its high as the number of people slaughtered in 1984 though

Many mainstream Hindus (I know a victim's family personally) were also slaughtered by Khalistani fanatics as well until they were kicked out of the country by true Sikhs who restored the honor and peace of Punjab. Now these losers sit in Europe, Canada and other countries and cry like the cowards that they are.

These people might want to get a few of their relatives from improvised parts of India to Europe on a political refugee visa hence the topi drama!

For once, you've said something really positive, mate.

Most of these guys have lost their so-called "look we're victim" cards after skeletons fell out of their closets. So now left with no other choice but to beat their dead horses again, they are looking for ways to get more economic "refugees" into Europe and Americas. Good for us. We'd have less of ungrateful cowards in our country who eat our salt and bite the hand that feeds them.

The Khalistan movement may not have a strong hold in Punjab but in places like Canada, UK, Europe etc it has a presence.

Then it might as well be as good as dead. If the people in the "affected areas" are happy with their current and projected situation, then it's a mute issue. The Sikhs outside of India crying for Khalistan are either over zealous, brainwashed idiots, or like someone else said, out to exploit the emotions of a VERY successful minority.
And before you bring up the victims of the tragedies in the 80s, then yes, they deserve justice, but even most of them aren't crying for a separate homeland. There homeland is there and as successful and prosperous as ever. All of Greater Punjab, on both sides of the border.
