Turns out , the sikh girl didn't want to marry that sikh boy and hence hired a hitman to murder him.

The first "anti-Sikh" episode was due to Sikhs threatening to murder a Sikh girl for running off with a Muslim guy, resulting in the Muslim family leading a protest against that nonsense (where admittedly one dude got over-excited and said some regrettable things, and was jailed).

The second episode was a Sikh girl paying hitmen in Peshawar to kill the Sikh guy because she doesn't want to marry him.
