like they are gonna allow them to have any weapons that can counter them
they can do a cuba on north yeman

Iran is much closer to North Yemen than the USSR was to Cuba. Plus, Iran is religious and isn't scared of starting a war with Saudi Arabia should Saudi Arabia attack Iranian ships delivering aid to North Yemen. Plus, Saudi Arabia isn't keen on starting a war with Sadr who can strike hard at northern Saudi Arabia with his Mahdi Army. Therefore Saudi Arabia will not attack Iranian ships.

IMO the end result is Yemen split into North Yemen and South Yemen again and North Yemen gets armed to the teeth by Iran and Iraq.

all this fights because the Houthi movement wanted a united Yemen not a divided one.

It is Aden that wants to split off. They wave South Yemen flags there. North Yemen currently does not wave North Yemen flags. Aden is separatist.

Houthis captured huge territory in South Yemen, like Lahji, so the split IMO is still a long way off.

You are right that the genie is out of the bottle. IMO it is inevitable North Yemen split off unless Saudi Arabia can do something about the tens of millions of Shia in North Yemen.

Unless Saudi Arabia risks its planes shot down by Mersads and Raads.

are all the shia in Yemen houthis??

united under who??? the houthis and Iran mullahs??

a secular government without religious pretense is the only option, but we all know that isn't possible in that part of the world.

Not all are Houthis, but they are all pro Houthis whose formal name is Ansarullah. Just like in Lebanon, not all Shia are Hezbollah, but they are all pro Hezbollah.

what you think ?
did they ever claimed they must be the head of estate , didn't they waited several month so some groups come to their sense and participate in the unity talks .

by the way do you see any Iranian advisers there , do you see any Iranian weapon there . do Zeidi shia religion resemble to twelwer shia religion or it resemble to Sunni ?did they speak anything about religion at all , they ruled Yemen for thousand year , did they tried to convert the people to their religion ?

Zaidi rejects the first 3 caliphs but they also reject Imam Mahdi. IMO Zaidi is half and half between Sunni and Shia.

Yemeni Sunnis are fairly moderate. South Yemen used to be a socialist country backed by the USSR and Cuba. The US and Saudi Arabia backed North Yemen which took over South Yemen in 1990 when Communism collapsed.

and for the rest of the religious matters they act like Sunnis .their resemblance to the twelwer shia is end after Imam Hassan .

On second thought, Yemen should split into West Yemen and East Yemen.

Partition along sectarian lines is never the answer. Besides, any partition would strongly be in favor of the Houthis since East Yemen is largely a desert and would suffer economically. In comparison, the Houthi-dominated West Yemen would not only control the Straits of Mandeb, they would also have the fertile as well as economically important land under their control. Moreover, the majority of the population live in the West so that gives any future 'West Yemen' another advantage.

And I am quite sure that none of the participants in the Yemen Conflict [Except maybe Houthis] would want total Houthi control over Sana'a and Aden.

Don't blame the Houthis for splitting Yemen. It is some Yemenis in Aden who want to split Yemen. They wave the flag of South Yemen, so they are SEPARATISTS.

I am not blaming Houthis to be seperatists. I am merely saying that any partition would be strongly in favour of the Houthis considering that they currently control the economically and strategically important locations in Yemen.
