Yes BD navy is smaller than SL navy by numbers of personnel but not by ships i guess,you don't even have a single frigate other than some OPVs and speed boats !! no offence bro
And btw a humongous modernization plan for BN already on the roll...

I think the Navy is trying to recruit new ppl. They released a commercial a few weeks back

Hey to be fair, considering and planning to buy an LPD isn't really bad...afterall don't we too plan to aquire 5-6 Aircraft carriers in the future .That to is unreasable as anything can happen in 30 years. But as they say, we should always plan ahead.
Maybe it isn't realistic now but there is no harm in planning a future for the BD navy

...Sorry my bad, I meant SSK for near future , And SSBN who can tell after 25/30 years. After all we have to defend some crucial maritime boundary.

i dont know what you meant "get some SSBN"...but i dont know if ever any SSBN was in sale/lease.and i think Bdesh dont need one..better induct much needed weapons..

Clearly on a SSBN, cause all that salt water is really making them hallucinate

Getting a good sub, like the german Agosta would be a great platform to get accustomed too. Maybe even a Kilo class sub can be donated by China/India? to get your hands dirty with a sub.

Acquiring a sub and operating one are two different ball games, navy would need to launch a major program to send recruits to serve on foreign navies to acquire skill to be able to navigate a sub, where one is flying blind and needs a great deal of skill to navigate based on instruments.
