This beautyful flag shall never be changed its who we are from the start and who shall be till our last days This flag has represented the nation from birth and should stay unchanged at all cost.

send them all to hindustan or londonistan......such people arent required or needed in Pakistan

I wouldn't wish this Mullah scourge on any other nation, plus myth_buster has just been "Islamized" by some Mullahs in the west. First thing they taught him about being a Muslim start having issues with all things Pakistani. Jinnah is bad, flag is bad, I'm waiting till he comes up with the bit about how the stan in Pakistan sounds like Satan and hence its probably coined up by pagan Satan worshippers.

In practice it has meant that legislation via constitutional democracy is not the final law of the land, rather that belongs to the will of those who can wield Islam as they wish to the limits of their power and ability. Democratic processes are thus subordinate to religious dictatorship, as dictatorship needs no laws, only decisions. ...
That is a problem but isn't of Pakistan's creation. We have accounts dating back to the 7th century of a son of an apostle writing "three kinds of people are corrupting/misusing Islam: the politician, the mulla and the sufi".

...

Although the U.S. Constitution is a secular document, the Founders were deeply conscious of its foundation in religion and the rights of man... if not the Constitution possessed checks and balances to limit the abuse of power.

Such limits do not exist, or do not function, in today's Pakistan. The 1973 Constitution justifies this.
Don't understand what kind of limits are you talking about. Neither the latter 'justification' comment.

Myth Buster,

Paganism is not anything new.

It is the starting point of evolution of all religions.

What is accepted today should be the watchword and not raise controversies that cannot be resolved since ancient history is hoary.

What is wrong with the Pakistani Flag?

It is as good as another.

What is important is the true belief in that Flag and do you doubt that?

funny they arent after Saudi or Egyptian or Somali flag --they need to mutter on and yap on about Pakistan flag

the flag we grew up with and held with pride esp. on independence days every year.....i cant see how anyone actually FROM Pakistan and/or LIVING IN Pakistan could demand such a stupid, mindless thing.

it actually boggles my mind how idiotic and unpatriotic some people are

But it is Pakistani's problem.

Don't understand what kind of limits are you talking about. Neither the latter 'justification' comment.
The U.S. executive can't impose taxes or direct spending without Congressional authority, Congress can't exercise executive functions like ordering generals and bureaucrats, and the Supreme Court can nullify an by either party which exceeds those limits, but is itself limited because it can only deal with Constitutional law, not executive or legislative functions.

As for my "justification" comment, I meant that anybody can justify breaking Pakistani law if they can invoke the Quran in their defense. That concept is justified by the quoted portion of the 1973 Constitution and the idea has spread further throughout Pakistan since then. Taseer's assassination is proof enough that this is a socially if not legally acceptable practice. What do laws matter if the guilty party hardly ever get investigated, indicted, convicted, or punished by law?

...
Followers of Monotheistic religions perverted & deviated to become pagans & started worshiping idols & other created things,,, it's NOT the other way round...

This concept arise when skewed-historians could trace back religions only to point where deviated-followere returned bak to monotheistic ways & presume that it was begining of monotheism,,, they miss the part that went-on even before that,,,

Even in recent past we have witnessed same perversion with-in muslims where they went from prostrating only to God -to- bowing to graves,,, & praying to pictures,,, etc.

yeah b/c we ALL know that Qadri is chilling in the Bahamas right now

bwahahahaha isnt he the one who was talking against Jinnah in every other thread ??? or i missed something ?

BTW just shut up our flag is the beautiful one and oh yeh I LOVE THIS ☪

Jinnah is bad, flag is bad, I'm waiting till he comes up with the bit about how the stan in Pakistan sounds like Satan and hence its probably coined up by pagan Satan worshippers.

i think that's all that is left remaining :woot:

Should it be changed to Pure Green or Green and White?

I mean the star and the crescent in the flag is actually Pagan symbols.

The star in the flag represents 5 pillars of islam and prophet mohammed PBUH clearly said :

“Whoever inserted anything in this our matter (Deen) that is not
part of it, it is rejected.”

“Anyone who invented something in our matter (Deen) that which
is not from it, it would be rejected.”

I mean seriously its about time we Muslims admit our mistakes and Change.

If Pakistanis want to stick to the flag then the meaning should be changed to something other so it does not misrepresent Islam.
Then whats wrong with making a cross or star of david a Islamic symbol?

Correct me If i am wrong.

Hey i posted this matter 2 days ago on the Imran Khan thread thing.

Islam has no simples to represent it, the Quran is the book that represents it. We got the Cresent and Star from Turkey, back then the Ottoman Empire. We thought the Crusades with the Cresent and Star. Like it or not it represents our History now, it shows the rise of Islam. Therefore in my eyes it should stay. I am sure Allah wouldn't mind as long as we believe in Islam and stick to Islamic values.

If i could change the flag i would change the green part to Black because it would look AWESOME.

and it would be utter disrespect to

a.) our non-Muslim minorities
b.) Jinnah Saab and the founding/spiritual fathers of Pakistan Nation
