And if it could be reasonably shown that it could benefit Pakistan, perhaps even lifting millions out of poverty? Probably also helping with food security that will be a vast problem as Pakistans population rises to a projected 440 million by 2050? With currently existing and burgeoning examples to point to showing what can be achieved?

It will not be beneficial to Pakistan, not because it doesn't have benefits but because we Pakistanis suck at availing any opportunities, if we could have, we would have taken advantage of Chinese friendship.
