Exactly. China can hardly fund both J-20 and J-31. If Pakistan contributes 1 or 2 billion, it would do wonders towards J-31.
The story of JF17 is diff.. J10 first flight(2008) was one year before the joint venture contract signed(2009).. Adding PLAF not inducted any JF17(have better option j10).. Now guess the answer..
J-10 first flight was in 1998, not 2008. China does not want a light fighter like FC-1, so why India wants to induct a light fighter like Tejas? Is the India air force too low in funding?
