Indian army chief was clear yesterday - return fire for fire and reply immediately.

It does not mean attack Pakistan. And even if there is anyone in the govt. who wants a war (which is very remote, given their statements), nothing will happen until US leaves Afghanistan.

Post the departure of US troops ans if serious incidents happen again (like on Jan 8th) or another 26/11, then there is a very high probability of some fireworks.

What a stupid unrealistic dream..Pakistan in my openion is one of the toughest countries to invade..Add being a nuclear power to that,with god only knows how many nukes in its arsenal..

For india LeT, army, Taliban are all same. How to deal with each other is Pakistan's internal issue. As outsider if any Pakistani organization attacks us, Pakistan government and military are accountable unless you arrest them and punish properly .

1. India is way too much occupied with its own problems too go and invade any one

2. Most of the Indians dont care about pakistan its onli Pakitan Army and there pin prikking assets which make news and indians are compelled to look towards there western border

3. Indian Elite is way too currupt and spine less even to attack somethng like sri lanka or bangladesh forget Pakistan

4. Its Indian nature and Values that we never attack weak we dint do it in all owr Recorded history

5. India is growth path most indians dont think of war to boost moral and unite unlike people from land of the pure

6. Well with gods grace Indians and specially Hindus came owt of clutches of foriegn rule , feudalism and infighting some 65 years back with help of owr freedom fighters , british and Sir Jinnah(cause with one master stroke he for ever separated India from Central asian Influences) we will never let any one or any circumstances to destabilize it

WE INDIANS DONT WANT TO MERGE WITH PAKISTAN OR PAKISTANIES IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES

I must say, this author ha no idea what a war with Pakistan will bring. The same thorn he is talking about will be up his a** if India invades Pakistan. And to those Indians who are so happy to think that Pakistani nukes will not destroy India completely and India will retaliate. Have you ever asked yourselves what if they do.

Do you think Pakistan will just target a city and then wait for an Nuclear response? If there's a Nuclear attack by Pakistan, it will be massive and it will make sure no India is left on face of the Earth. 100 Nukes are more than enough for that. But yes, War should be avoided. God forbids, if war happens. India wont fly out of it as a winner, even if Pakistan does lose.
