One thing to note though - if we leave aside attack on Pakistan part, most of the things in the article are up to the mark and correct.. Like Britishers pushing Jinnah and helping creation of Pakistan for their own interests etc..

This should be seen in the context of Anglo-Russian Enemity and British desire to have uninterrupted access to Afghanistan.

we will not go for a war with Pakistan, unless we are severely threatened.

I am not a supporter of war . However ,India can & will be able to survive a nuclear attack, what becomes of Pak. All water into Pak flows from India the fallout shall flow back into Pk.

Going to war will help Pak, it shall provide that nation with a platform for all fissiparous orgnisations to set aside their individual agendas and come together.

It may be a better option to up the ante thru other options and keep it up.

It really is alarming - the ease with which Indians and Pakistanis talk about nuking each other. I wasn't born during most of the cold war but I doubt the Americans and Soviets boasted about wiping each other out with such a matter-of-fact attitude.

India of course has every right to take action and must of course strive to protect its citizenry. As does Pakistan. Even if India-Pakistan went to war and it was non-nuclear and India won - at the end, we will have to talk to their leadership. And it would be the same negotiations on the same issues - water sharing between populations, Kashmir etc.

But the world thinks and India is not alone in this - that Pakistan really needs to get its act together. The Army, the Political class and the judiciary all seem to be protecting their own interests and want to out do the other at all costs. Within the Army and the Political class there are differences and centers of power. It is a quagmire.

All countries have right wing psychos whipping up emotions but at least from the outside it seems that they are more mainstream in Pakistan than in other places - perhaps the Pakistanis can shed light on this.

Believe me, Pakistani army is guarding Indians from jihadists, I really pity India if tried to enter Pakistan, it should be clear from Iraqi and Afghani lessons that entering a Muslim country against it's people will, will be paid dearly. Where do they get their training and the AK-47s...We dont have a gun culture in India,guns are not easy to possess in India,but,across the border they have a thriving gun culture,thanks to their policy with Afghanistan.
Its the jihadists who are up in arms against Pakistan are actually controlling the spread of terrorism in India,in an indirect fashion.Pakistan is now forced to employ its time and resources in the Western borders,which relieves the pressure on India.A simple observation would justify this fact.We observed a marked decrease in terrorist attacks in Kashmir valley after US invaded Afghanistan.The focal point of the jihadists was simply relocated to more pressing concern of theirs.

1. India is way too much occupied with its own problems too go and invade any one

2. Most of the Indians dont care about pakistan its onli Pakitan Army and there pin prikking assets which make news and indians are compelled to look towards there western border

3. Indian Elite is way too currupt and spine less even to attack somethng like sri lanka or bangladesh forget Pakistan

4. Its Indian nature and Values that we never attack weak we dint do it in all owr Recorded history
