Yes so many of them in Shanghai, Gubei district in particular. Say now I rent a two-bed apt to Japanese students, and a bigger apt to a senior LG executive with his family, all polite and decent, best tenants, most welcome to stay for as long as they wish!

You are super rich, man !!!

To be honest, I was being a little sarcastic. But you think Japanese and Koreans will come to live permanently in China?

China have 30+ provinces, I can't know detailed situation. But in Shandong, Zhejiang province and Shanghai city, there are many Japanese and Korean. You can see from the map, Korea and Japan is very near to eastern China, it takes one hour by air. Distance from Shandong to Korea is even shorter than to Guangdong. Permanent residence or not, I don't know, some guys have real estates in both countries, traveling is convenient.

do you even have the slightest idea of how many Koreans and Japanese working, studying and living in China? there are 200,000 Korean in Beijing alone! a city district Wangjing is being called 'Korean City'

this indian Ramjet is a joke. Japan has less people and are more in dire strait for population growth than China. He loves poking his nose in Chinese forum just to troll.

Okay what's funny is that White people always talk about how unfair it is that Europe must take in Middle Eastern refugees, while China and other East Asian countries refuse them entry.

But China never went to the Middle East and bombed the shit out of those countries and destroyed innocent homes. So why should China or any other East Asian country take in any displaced refugees, something that they are not even responsible for?

This is the second time I've had to disprove this outrageous rumor that "millions upon millions" of Koreans were living in China.

First time I proved these rumors wrong: China's work force is set to decline 30% by 2050 | Page 11

In 2007, there was an official count of 700,000 Koreans in China. But, the 2008 global economic crisis and Korean won depreciation changed the hopes of the Koreans about China in 2 to 3 years. When Beijing did the 2010 Sixth National Population Census, only 120,750 South Koreans remained in China.

Major Figures on Residents from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and Foreigners Covered by 2010 Population Census

I won't point out anybody here and mention them by name because this looks like a common mistake. However, the next fvcktard clown that spreads false rumors like these about my country gets humiliated by me regardless of whether you're a Chinese or Zimbabwean. Everybody has a tolerance limit against false rumors about their own country. This is no different. People should do their part and look at facts from a legitimate source before making such claims.

They might have been referring to ethnic Koreans living in China, and not South Korean nationals living in China.

.
Yh but who would go to China? China is still a poor nation. They would go to South Korea or Japan.

People walk with masks in China, because of pollution.

It's not a particularly nice country other than a brick wall people visit and a few other things. Never heard anyone saying, oh I'm going to move to China. Lol

I'm afraid I have to agree with my Chinese friends on here. china should(and would) never allow low I.Q./extremist migrants to settle in China and even less so gain citizenship. Its not just China though, East Asian countries in general will never follow the catastrophic example of western countries like Germany who have been allowing all sorts of uneducated men and women to immigrate and settle/gain citizenship where they also demand free lunch/benefits from the German government. It has turned out to ne more of a loss than a gain, and this is without counting the long term social effects/implications of such uncontrolled low IQ immigrants .
No matter how some of us might pressure the Chinese to follow our suicidal open door policy, they and other east Asian countries will never agree to follow such a policy, since they know better.
The Chinese will at most allow overseas Chinese to come back and settle on their motherland or maybe allow only HIGHLY SKILLED/EDUCATED foreigners to settle in China and that's it. Any talk of allowing non Chinese or non East Asian/confucian immigrants to gain citizenship in China is a no go area and I agree with their policy. Others can can call them racists or whatever, that's their problem.:)

Mike, who will go to China? People don't want to work in factories 18 hours a day and earn $10. People go to Europe because of freebies, working conditions etc. People go to Spain because of its nice weather and beaches etc. Many British go to Spain later on to live there, pensioners etc. There's even many in coastal cities in Turkey, as well as many Russians living there.

Chinese people walk with masks lol. So tell me who would like to move to China unless their out of their mind?

The answer is NO in ANY scenarios.

The Han Chinese are one of the smartest, if not the smartest, people in the world. So China even doesn't need foreign scientists or highly skilled workers, because China has sufficient of them if the the govenment invest more in education sector.

The essence of ANY mass-immigration is to genocide the indigenous population but do it in a peaceful way - out right overtaking by the number count and/or so-called "assimilation" in modern term.

In the modern time, mass immigration is the most effective way for weak countries to defeat strong countries by dumping their large unwanted population (mostly unskilled with far lower IQ) thereby destroying the gene pool of the receiving hosts.

"Assimilation" is the most harmful way because it is irreversable from gene point of view!
After "assimilation", the local gene pool will change permanently. So then "Han Chinese" will not be today's Han Chinese any more.

In the ancient time, mass-immigration was mostly done by killing off, one way or another, the most if not the entire local population in the process.

Rome fell largely due to the large immigrations. I hope China is smart enough not to repeat the disaster.

So, sorry, but the vast land of China has been formed by the ancient Chinese throughout 1000s of years of countless blondy wars and painful struggles for the survival of their offspring - the Chinese, not for the suicide of them.

exactly. Using foreign troops to fight their own kind was bad too. The Mongols did the same thing and their empire only lasted 70 years.

I think overseas Chinese is ok. The overseas Chinese card will be issued.

I just cast my vote: Yes, those who can assimilate.
  • Condition should be simple, allowing immigrants of "Chinese" ethnicity, i.e. within the scope of 56 ethnic groups e.g. Han, Manchurian, Mongolian, Hui/Muslim, Tibetan, Uygur, ....
  • Country of origin not limited to any region.
  • Immigrants should be encouraged/incentivized to reside in mid-west provinces, northern provinces.
For non-immigrant, give work visa if such talent/labor is needed.

What about Russian and Tajik who are whites? Koreans? Jing (Vietnamese)? Miao (Hmong)? They are part of the 56 minorities, should they count?

What about Hungarians who are supposed to be distantly related to Xiongnu?

Should an ethnic category be created for Japanese?
