Yeah well he said some pretty weird things about 'Chowk' in the 'India developing' thread as if he's the only person who's ever set foot in that area of Lucknow. He made it sound like his relatives live in abject poverty because of the fact that they're Muslim. What a joke! But I'm not surprised... 1. the love story of shekhar suman.

2. the exploits of amjad khan who plays vatsayan.

3. the revolutionary, played by kunal kapoor, guided by his mentor, kulbhushan kharbanda.

about the last, is revolution really a part of post-1947 general indian culture"??

and the film was based on a old sanskrit play written after alexander the great's arrival in india and the greeks making contributions to india[1] in the arts and sciences, including drama :

please don't concentrate on "saffron" but on the rest of what i wrote,

we cannot simply brush away the disparity in the rural areas and the callousness among the urban middle class.
