Shocking: Windows 98 & XP Are Still Being Taught in Pakistani Schools

.
Some one took history is important phrase too seriously :D.
I don't see any problem in teaching kids xp though!

.
Xp was the best operating system I ever used. I never quiet get the hang of the latest Microsoft offering.

.
Actually i still love those two OS. The biggest advantages of those OS is that now all viruses is based on 64 bit now and these two OS is base on 8, 16 and 32bit, so latest viruses wouldn't hurt them:-). But this is case we need atleast windows 7 so that all current software can install on them
I actually love XP most, have still retained it thought after sales service was stopped a while back. But it's user friendliness is just unmatched by even 7/8, especially command based software doesn't run in background fully.

.
And all the students have Windows 10 professional 64 bit at home (and of course free)
where ?? in US or in Europe ??

Guess what? they're introducing a new discipline , the computer history :D
Expect the unexpected . . .

By the way, I would suggest that government opts for Linux (Ubuntu or Mint) in the schools since these are free and open source and we should also promote the use of opensource and freeware in Pakistan as many countries in the Europe are doing. This will not only reduce the cost and outflow of our money but also eliminate the use of pirated software over the time..In addition the kids will grow with the open source OS and a pool of Pakistan specific resources will be developed that will be helpful and many students may come up with customised versions of the OS. In today's world there is a free alternative for most of famous applications...
Agreed.

. .
More shockingly

ABC and 123 still being taught world wide schools

Why we make issue of everything from nowhere

.
lol it's probably the only OS their computers can run.
