She is a Human Rights minister and she is saying what is right not because she has any affiliation with Iran.

She is one of the serving Ministers and her statement might be taken at face value by enemies of Iran which are multiple to begin with.

A serving Minister should be mindful of SENSITIVE international issues because (any) country having substantial dealings with Iran is a potential target for a new round of sanctions imposed by USA under Trump administration to say the least. Pakistan should be looking forward to EXIT from the FATF Grey List and not try to invite a new round of sanctions in its place.

Pakistan should observe how the NEXT American administration will deal with Iran. Chances of Donald Trump scoring 2nd term cannot be ruled out.

PATIENCE is important consideration for now.

She won't because priorities have changed. It is wake up time for many of us. Times have changed. New alliances are a reality. Shireen Mazari is simply stating the facts irrespective of whether it is state policy or not.
