You see,the GoI has successfully separating the Shia community from the Sunnis,hence now the Indian community of around 180 million muslims is practically divided into two thanks to the effort of the GoI.Plus the Shia community is always known for their allegiance to the Union of India only,so our intelligence agencies can now gather all the information regarding the I.M. from the 60 million strong Shia community which is about 1/3rd of the entire Indian muslim population...

I am not talking about the Sultanate period.My interest lies in the present situation of my country.I have got a few Shia friends here and from what i have observed they are extremely vocal supporters of India.Hence my personal understanding is that the Shia community of India is in general a patriotic community.
