They haven't released on DVD or TV yet but it will be in cinemas again from December 20.

Why are the sound effects so baaad?

A Gsh cannon doesn't sound like a pea shooter...

Yeah its too cringy but still VFX and dogfight sequence is top notch.

What I don't like about the military movies are the overly jingoistic dialogues. Military personnel are humans. Their demeanour is not brimming with patriotism 24/7. If they are shown as humans, instead of indoctrinated robots, who put their lives at risk for their nation when the need arises I think we will all feel naturally sympathetic towards them. In this regard, PTV largely did a great job with Nishan-e-Haider series.

That was pretty horrendous. Nothing in that entire sequence made any sense.

ABC was even more brilliant.

If they really wanted to have chatty pilots in a dogfight, instead of them doing these long monologues they could have had them make quick comments instead of those speeches.

This scene is over-the-top as hell but the dialogue fits the situation:

Make it available on Netflix and then it will be world wide

All
Pak New flick should on Amazon and Netflix

C'mon . This is such an unrealistic scene !

Worst thing in this film " Behind Enemy lines "

. . .
what are they trying to show in this scene?
That PAF pilot would let go of an enemy plane in plain sight because he knew the enemy pilot?
Why not finish the job on a damaged plane? with another round of bursts?
Chutia writer.

Sherdil is going to re-live Top Gun, not in terms of story but in terms of action packed Jets Dogfight movie with a flavor of drama at land.

I haven't watched and I made my mind when I came to know about the plot. It's just shitty plot.
Don't know why they have to make all this lovey dovey drama. Same for the serial" Ehd e Wafa". Don't know why nation is going made at it.

For God's we had a decade long operation in KPK & FATA. Make a gritty movie loaded with real action all clean from this drama and love dovey shit. I bet you it will be huge success not only in Pakistan but all over.
There's another movie "Parwaz hai Junoon". Its story is good but VFX are not good as compared to this one.

.
Long story short: every dogfight footage in mainstream media (like movies and TV shows) is riddled with inconsistencies and plain exaggerations. In this particular case, the PAF knew full well how stupid and cringe-worthy the "dogfight" footage was. But lets be honest, would you (as an average, 9-5 job working, entertainment loving human being) rather watch a fighter pilot shoot off a missile at a target Beyond Visual Range where the only indication that it has a lock on you is his aircraft's warning systems, or watch a close-in WW2-esque fight that no sane 21st century pilot would ever get into? The answer is simple for the mass consumers: the latter option. These types of films are not informative, they are simply for entertainment; and entertainment DEMANDS exaggeration, and even lies.
