Azhar Ali ki avg Test mai sahi hai... Usko Test ka captain bana den to sahi hai.. Lakin ODi mai usne kuch nai kia. I agree whatever you said about A.Shehzad.. He was more into taking selfies during the WC tour. Lakin Umar Khatmal bhi hairstyle bana k ground mai ata raha.. He didn't even do a shit.

Seriously only Sarfraz have imprrssed me, he play without fear. He won us a test match chasing 300 in 60 overs. He has proved himself in ODIs now, always looking for singles. Now he just need to learn to bat longer and make more centuries.

These are not permanent captains.

Lets hope we don't lose to Bangladesh. If we do, then obviously we will have a change in who gets to be captain.

To be honest, we have NO captain material. Most pakistanis get excited after one or two games and say "this guy should be captain!" Take wahab for example. A good spell, let's make him captain. Remember Younis century vs Australia? Oh let's play him in WC, even though he sucks at ODI.

Captain requires consistency. We are ourselves to blame why the likes of once in a blue moon shinning players.

They rolled balls and made selfies in WC. Other then their performance, need address attitude issues. They should go back to domestic for one complete year and then be evaluated for improvement.

I can see why they appointed Azhar. He averages over 40 in tests. 30 years old so mature enough for captaincy. Has a List A average of 50 so he is capable of playing a ODI innings.

Shehzad and Umar Akmal as talented as they are are just too young and immature. They need to man up and it will take another 5 years till they are in right mind frame. There is no other possible option who has been playing international cricket for more than 2 years.

Never send a child to do a mans job.
