1. Shahzad has not been the same ever since he was struck with that bouncer, he has lost all confidence and needs to get a grip on things before making a comeback.
2. Dropping Akmal is an extreme step in my opinion, perhaps he should have been made the captain for a couple of years which would have allowed him to play his game as per his own style and at the batting number that he prefers. I mean he has all the talent in the world but continues to disappoint us, but that could just be because he is not being utilized properly.

And Azhar Ali as a captain of the ODI side in which he has not been able to even secure a position, now that is a big big gamble! We need players who know how to play the game of 2015 and not those who continue to live in the 1980's style like Misbah and Younis did.

Bring in new guns like Sami Aslam, Imam ul Haq, Babar Azam at top 3 spots. They've been piling up centuries after centuries in domestic and List A cricket as openers and one down for years now.
