I still miss Inzamam, Wasim, Akhtar and others a lot, don't get see much nowadays. He was a legend at his prime. No doubt he alongside Jayasuriya taught the world how to play modern cricket.
He wasn't the best batsmen in our team but he was probabably the best all rounder we produced in our cricketing history, if not the second best
He won us most number of matches than any other player I think s with that merit he will always stand among the legends

I have pretty faint memories of that period as I was too young(childhood practically) at that time. But still it is priceless, so much differences but still some kind of connection maybe.I still miss Saeed Anwar
I remember the time when DL Heynes had 17 Hundreds, later Saeed Anwar made around 16 and was very close to break his world record of most number of hundreds, at the same time Ganguly had around 13-14 hundreds I think... There was some gap in Saeed Anwar's innings for some reason (his daughter passed away or he got injured I don't remember) Ganguly edged past Saeed Anwar and Heynes to score 18 or 19 hundreds. Then there was a competition between Ganguly and Saeed Anwar and I was confident Saeed Anwar will break Ganguly's record easily as his consistency in scoring hundreds was unprecedented... But he decided to resign after 2003 world cup at a very respectable age (early 30s).I have pretty faint memories of that period as I was too young(childhood practically) at that time. Nowadays its easier to score a hundred but in 1990s most of the legends ended up their career with 8-12 hundreds

That's very true.you should have also added
"Later, Pakistan never produced a opener like Saeed Anwar"
That's very true.
There was a good opener who had potential to be legend, if he was still playing he would have broken so many records but he ended up in prison and I still curse PCB for not banning him forever
Afridi was a nightmare for any opposition team...... But he threw away his wicket most of the time cheaply
I don't even wanna name himwho is that ?
and for silly hits even when his team needs him badly
I don't even wanna name him

His average had improved significantly before he was caught in spot fixing, banned and jailed but with consistency in his performances it was most likely that he would have been among the top scorers from Pakistan
