He revealed that “towards the end of 1948” he concluded that “there were only two possibilities open to us, continuance of the war in a limited way; (2) some kind of a settlement on the basis of the existing military situation”. He had accepted the UNCIP resolutions to get a ceasefire; not to hold a plebiscite. “We are superior to Pakistan in military and industrial power,” With the passage of time Pakistan will “accept a settlement which we consider fair, whether in Kashmir or elsewhere”. Pakistan should work on developing nuclear warheads of at least 250 KT. And have at least 250 of those war heads.

But that is to make sure we don't go to war but if war takes place. Our first and foremost strategy should be to fight a conventional war. And for that we should produce long range land attack cruise missiles with range of 1600 to 2400 KM. Which can be fired both from Land as well as sea. Carry out long range strikes with conventional weapons will be key to win the war without going nuclear.
