I suppose something positive can be said about this news. The Shahed-129 actually has a proper production rate contrary to alot of Iranian weapons that are unveiled and are never heard of again.

So if this crash had not occurred then you would not have thought this uav was in production. In other words, just because they don't show you something time and time again, it means it is not being produced? Great logic there.

Shahed is a recon drone that can also be armed. Because of long flight endurance (24h) it's much more logical to use it for long recon missions rather than small drones.

And btw, it has already passed its test flights 3 years ago.

Thats right. Its no secret that Iran unveils products that are to be "mass-produced" only to be never heard or seen again. Atleast now we can see the Shahed being produced in a decent quantity and in active military service.

I believe its is armed drone not clear it is armed when crashed and as per images missile launch rail visible at one wing. From more of my obervation drone crashed in pakistani side.. waoo now

Agree. It seems tough. The reason I asked is I think I see some textile at the upper edge of the nose opening in pic#3 that you posted.
