Just my two cents:
1. Even if the girl is naked in public(like nude beaches) you don't touch her or harass her.
2. Just because a girl accuses a guy of harassment, doesn't necessarily mean she's not lying. Hear the other party too.

the mindsets displayed and the language used here is surprising. Meesha could turn out to be a liar and im sure ali zafar will drag her and 4 other twitter bloggers including leena ghani who have spoken abt their harassment , to the court.

But imean seriously should we be discussing this that if a woman doesnt dressup properly it means anyone could come and cop a feel on her? I mean even after zainab incident we are having this debate.

I agree, like I said on the other thread, if you lie with dogs, you will get fleas. If you hang around in social environments where people are uninhibited by drink and dressed in an appealing manner, and behaving in a flirtatious manner, you are likely to get sexual advanced, wanted or not. I guess the line should be drawn at taking no for an answer. By the sounds of things Ali Zafar doesn't take no for an answer.

It's easy in these celebrity cases to blame the women, because regardless of what the feme-nazi's say, they are also culpable, but the danger in that is, we climb on to a slippery slope. It becomes much harder to draw distinction when women who are not celebrities, who are not drinking, who are not flirting, who end up being harrassed sexually.

I as a man feel uncomfortable going out with my womenfolk in Pakistan socially, because in so many areas you see people sitting there learing, regardless of how a woman is dressed. We don't have this problem in the UK or any other country i have visited. Maybe it is simply because we live in a backward area and it's different in the big cities. There is clearly a problem, and by dismissing the claims of certain women simply because they are "gashti's" as one member put it, it's doing a diservice to ourselves.

What kind of society does Islam promote? Does it promote a society where there's free mixing of genders along with alcohol and semi-nudity? Does it promote a promiscuous society? Does it condone adultery and fornication?

If Islam is a city, then everything outside of it is darkness. You can only apply man-made secular laws to mobilise such a society which will eventually lead to the society's downfall for certain as mankind does not have the required wisdom to sustain themselves. In an Islamic society a sexual harasser would find it extremely difficult to go about their business because of the segregation and the severe punishment...the culprit will have to go OUT OF THEIR WAY to commit such a heinous crime.
