Meesha Shafi accuses Ali Zafar of sexual harassment, encourages women to break ‘culture of silence’

Never liked Ali Zafar. Over rated singer, who used to picked out Junaid Jamshed on social media over his beliefs and openly used take on Shaan because of his pro-Pakistani stance against Bollywood. Hopefully this will end his career.

Still better than what Jamshed became, a Taliban Lal Masjid clone. You want that to represent pop culture of Pakistan? Absolutely pathetic.

No means NO.

When a lady is not interested and says no, you accept that and move on.

what Junaid became is none of our concern since he left pop music. And when he left, he was never representing Pakistani pop culture, did he ? or he ever claimed ?

She is fantom child who dares to molest woman like her especially Ali Zafar how can go to any college / uni and get what he wants.

Just a publicity stunt nothing more, Al Zafar should file case against her....She is a thief previously working with Farhad Hamayioun and steel his song Bijli aye na aye....

looking at the comments on the thread......people just trying hard to shut her up as if its all her fault...
pathetic.....
my country took the matter to the streets....in pakistan she can only bang her head ...

In your country people are supporting the pedo rapists on streets.
While here on this thread some guys are taking side of guy, some are taking side of girl and some are being neutral in an Alleged harassment case from one celeb to another celeb.

Learn the basics difference and then try to get on your high horse.

It's cases like these that being out the worst in us. Looking at social media and all I'm seeing is butthurt men and women. Women pretending like they're all saints by default and men pretending as if sexual harrasment is an out of the world concept in Pakistan.

As much as a LIBTARD equalist I am, I believe that unless a crime has solid proof of atleast multiple witnesses/people making the claim all it will ever be is an allegation. At the same time it's not looking too good for Ali Zafar especially seeing his old tweets and Meesha Shafi being the senior artist she is , wouldn't be out making baseless claims for attention.

I know ali zafars way of thinking he will be sitting now and saying Shakal dekhi hai is meesha nay apni may aisi shakal walaion ko may ghaas daloon ga.

Anyways, by the way Ali zafar for past several years was openly and publicly hitting on and flirting with Mahira at showbiz events. It was very evident.

Also those people in this thread who r worried abt Alis career are they so bothered with an actor who got popular cause of pakistan and then moved to india and stopped working for his country until he got flopped there and had to come back?

This is his reponse to Meeshas accusations

Beginning of an end for Ali Zafar

-
After Meesha Shafi took to Twitter to accuse Ali Zafar of sexual harassment more women have come forward with similar allegations.

Makeup artist/painter Leena Ghani tweeted in support of Meesha Shafi, thanking her for her bravery and shared her #MeToo story:

"[Ali Zafar's] behaviour shows a clear lack of respect for women. Inappropriate contact, groping, sexual comments should not fall In the grey area between humour and indecency. Comments that would make your skin crawl and make you feel objectified are not to be reduced to 'a joke'[...] In most cases, women like myself run from a situation and hope to God you never cross paths again. And when by some misfortune, you do, you hide from him. Hoping that his sleazy eyes and hands don't find you again. His hands don't run up and down your waist or hold you too tight while you desperately try to wiggle and run [...] The memories of the times when Ali thought he could get away by saying vulgar things still disgust me."

Other women to have spoken out include blogger Humna Raza, who recounted her experience of being inappropriately touched when she met Ali at a public event.

Maham Javaid described an encounter her cousin had with the singer and commends Meesha Shafi for reminding her that women's stories should be voiced out.

This is a developing story and will be updated accordingly.

If Ali Zafar would have said the same no one would have noticed... #MeToo is kinda currency for these socially depressed and paranoid women...
