Pakistan had pretty good economic indicators and was progressing quite well in the initial decades of it's independence where it was incredibly destable.

And technically while your description is true, India also fits a similar description, so why is it not at this level of a shit show?

I agree some stuff are also inherent as you cannot deny that but they were able to flourish and gain more power at a national level due to foreign meddling, Imran Khan hinted to that and there's also many sources pointing towards it during the war on terror days where USA forced Pakistan to purge a lot of the elements of ISI and the army itself.
