KESC when it got privatized did a birlliant thing, it studied where it was generating most of the revenue from (people who pay bills, areas where electricity theft is nominal) and their loss areas (where bills are not collected, kunda system provides free electricity to the household etc) and now they are giving load shedding in those loss areas while giving maximum electricity to the areas generating them revenue. Simple but effective.

KESC never talked about Punjab or Baluchistan or any other thing, they identified the problem and fixed it, at start those areas were very limited but as the time progressed people learned the hard way and stopped the kunda system thus fixing the self created problem on their own.

Karachi despite of the 8 years hard work by Mustafa Kamal is still ages back in comparison to Lahore, why is that one might ask? please keep your hatred towards yourself. Jaag Punjabi Jaag was not screamed by Altaf Hussain or Asfandyaar Wali or Zardari just to remind you. Wish it was screamed Jaag Pakistan Jaag instead.

Nonsense. Shahbaz Sharif only said Karachi steal's Punjab's electricity. He is purely acknowledging PPP and MQM's poor governance. There maybe less load shedding in Karachi, but as a matter of fact, extreme load shedding exists in other parts of Sindh like Punjab, and that is for sure.

This media and the posters are totally unprofessional. So sad to see them making people of Pakistan fight over ethnic grounds !

and karachi generates 70 percent of revenue give all of it to punjab, look at the development in punjab and then compare it to karachi

Musharraf and MQM saved karachi while it was working day and night to generate revenue and was in **** poor condition

KESC is buying every electricity , so karachi pays 100% of the electricity it consumes, and the kunda theft has also been minimised, KESC is a private organisation, how can one even blame KESC and karachi ? the profits generated is then used to maintain the system and karachiites pay a huge money per unit electricity

as regards to interior sindh and KPK, there are more electricity outages then even punjab the electricity is not available 24 hours there its even worse then punjab

punjab got the lions share of money and punjab saw the biggest development as compared to sindh, balochistan and KPK, why do punjab guys whine about that is beyond me, you guys had to make power plants but you prefered to make metro bus and let shahbaz do corruption?

KESC is also earning profits KESC continues its march toward higher profitability
