What's new

Shady's, I'm Saleh's back and he's mad [insults Quaid Azam]

well, no f**ks given because he's pro India and anti :D
So being Pro India means he is capable of protecting Indian Interests n Afghanistan???His track Record Suggest it otherwise.
you say on one hand that the world is stupid in not discussing things with local powers like the Taleban and yet criticize him for talking with some of them. You're problem is that he didn't toe your line, he did what he thought was good for his country.
Taliban is something which they cant AVOID as it is more of a reactionary power which Feeds on Social Vulnerabilities of a country like Poverty, Hunger, Discrimination etc. I dont think Afghanistan as a country is capable of removing that even with Showering of Billions of $$$ upon them so in the end it is all they are left with to at least Achieve PEACE in the country at least. Even if he didnt toe to Pakistan's line then at least he would have PROVED his Competence in Afghanistan being a Spymaster of NDS but he couldnt able to do that either so being a Failure he is only left with one thing right now and that is Barking.

Our favorite hater Amrullah Saleh is back!!!! -- thanks G-d -- life would have been so boring had he permanently disappeared ;-)

Anyway it seems he was really riled by being banned.

So he did two things:

1. one he insulted Quaid-e Azam -- see below
2. He congratulated Indians on their independence day and Indians had to point out that today is Pakistan's independence.

Enjoy

No surprise. Afghanistan was the only filth that opposed Pakistan's membership in UN.

. .

A misguided mod or whatever sent me a message/warning for "insulting a member" when all I did was call syedali a dumbass (in retaliation to some awful things that he said), and now, no action will be taken by the management of this misguided forum, on this very syedali (who is in every way and form what I got a warning for calling him) for insulting an entire nation and its people. Lovely!

Is this dude supposed to be some Afghani version of Zaid Hamid? No wonder such degenerates always find crowd in Bharut.:partay:

I have seen Saleh talk in interviews and discussions. He is an impressive personality.

.
and if he had supported you instead the disaster would have been unimaginable. He was right in stating that Pak knew where Osama was.

Well so he claims he knew where Osama was, is there any independent verification that he was the sleuth who found him? Or are his claims on record before Osama was found?

Further I don't think it was him who would have found Osama -- probably the old cadre of Khad agent who worked for him.

Further he lacks experience running an organization -- compare him to his contemporaries -- General Pasha -- do you really want to pit Amrullah Saleh against General Pasha? Are you kidding me, people like Gen Pasha get to their position after almost 40 years of service in the Army.

By comparison Hanif Atmar, is highly qualified -- he had the proper schooling -- has world exposure -- lost his leg fighting the mujahideen (he was real command) and has polish.

What specifically are Amrullah Saleh's qualification for the job?
- experience running a large organization? No
- any schooling beyond high school? No
- any verifiable accomplishments? say like we have for Ajit Doval, Gen Pasha, etc. ? No
- Was Afghanistan any safer when he was in office, considering that NATO was deployed in Afghanistan? No
- Does he have a relationship in Pakistan do get stuff done? no

- Amrullah Saleh could not even protect his Twitter account -- someone has taken over his handle amrullahsaleh1 and he's tweeting now from amrullahsaleh2

Now -- what in your opinion constitutes him being suitable for the job -- because he bad mouthes Pakistan?

he did not say he knew where Osama was, but that he knew Pak had him. Fair enough intelligence assessment.

A broken clock is also right twice a day

I guess everyone who was shouting that Osama was in Pakistan is now qualified to be the head of NDS?

I gave you some very basic but very specific criteria to judge his metric -- do you disagree or that he said Pakistan had OBL trumps all?

The current head of NDS Rahmatullah Nabil by comparison is a quiet consummate professional. He's the one who recruited a senior TTP member -- thankfully, for Pakistan (and Afghanistan) the US put an end to it.

I think Amrullah Saleh's contemporary would be lal topi wala, Zaid Hameed.

How many innocent citizens killed in US firing from Drone. You can conveniently believe anything.

Just because the US launches intermittent drone strike with or without the permission of the authorities hardly qualifies the US as an occupying power as is in the case of Afghanistan.

Hummmm US kills your citizens by dropping a bomb and kil your soldiers by firing a missile from helicopters which took of from your soil and you are saying that they are not occupying power? What more does they do in Afghanistan.

to be clear Pakistani solders were killed by accident -- you will not find even a conspiracy theorist in the US who says that they were killed on purpose.

But one can argue that both Pakistan and India (and of course Afghanistan) have not been fully sovereign because other people's governments have had to pay for our development in the shape of loans and grants -- and forgive me but I thought India was actually the bigger beggar when compared to Pakistan.

And, to be clear this is not my yard stick -- the most senior French diplomat in Afghanistan before his departure used words something like:
"... let us be frank ... Afghanistan is not a sovereign country because it is the West that pays for its government ..." or as someone else put it (Anatol Leiven was it) soverignty means paying your bills.

First where is the evidence that the helicopters took off from Pakistan, secondly the US claimed (Whether true or not true) that it was an accident, and as a result we sealed off their supply line which cost them hundreds of millions, and received an apology which they initially declined to make (hardly an occupied entity akin to Afghanistan), as for the drone strikes well lets just say they target folks who are the enemies of the Pak military and certainly no freinds of Pakistan.

Gen Fahim showed a lot of faith in Saleh and Atmar. Hopefully Dr Adbudullah would do the same for Amrullah Saleh gets him to either head NDS again or get him to NSA role for the Afghan cabinet.
Accepting Saleh's and Atmar's resignation by Karzai was the biggest mistake in Afghan politics, almost as big as Najibullah declining to revert back to Pansjshir when offered by massoud....
If Dr. Abdullah and Ghani has any sense, they should bring back both Saleh and Atmar.

What are his achievements beside supporting TTP and BLA (Recent defected commanders elaborated where and who trained him in afghanistan) that you so badly wanted him to make a comeback ?
