BELGRADE: Serbia wants to conclude an agreement with Pakistan that would enable the export of its military equipment to the Asian country, Defence Minister Aleksandar Vucic said Monday.

“What we can offer and what they are interested in are armoured vehicles, large calibre ammunition, assault rifles and night-vision equipment,” Vucic said after the meeting with his Pakistani counterpart Syed Naveed Qamar.

The Pakistani minister said the details of a potential accord would be known after a Serbian delegation visits his country, planned in the coming months.

For several years, Serbia has been trying to increase its military industry’s exports, notably of ammunition, rifles, explosives and small planes.

According to the latest official data, these exports have increased in value to $247 million (190.5 million euros) from $75 million some five years ago.

Why can't Pakistan make it's own night vision goggles? They're not that hard to get hold of. Anyone can buy them along the fghani-pak border.

For example Pakistan was able to copy North Korean missiles once. Why can't they put together a team to assemble a decent pair of night vision goggles.

All the things on the list are things that Pakistani companies can already either make on their on or easily gain the capability to do so.

Small Planes Pakistan already makes and exports those.

Ammo Pakistani industry has that covered

Rifles that's done too....

Night vision goggles a decent pair shouldn't be that hard.

I agree and i'll add more into that:
- We make small planes like Mushak, Super Mushak, K-8, and UAVs. They are regularly exported.
- We export ammos to like 30 countries, including U.K, Belgium, Switzerland and Australia
- And Rifles are already made by P.O.F (Pakistan Ordinance Factories).

If Pakistan can make other big things, then definitely night vision goggles are not to difficult to make. If needed, Chinese have better quality and they are way to go for...

Pakistan does makes night visions n ammo etc. But the point is, that upto which good category do we can make uptill now? n buying these stuff from others which r better then ours actually gives u chance to make them ourselves by coping or by taking new ideas from the technology in which they r build upon.

Thats 1 point n the second is that its the very need of hour to import such equipment because they will strait away will be given to the service men who r fighting WoT like night vision, ammo etc, n rest towards the other side of the border where the main war with enemy will begin.

We have multiple threads to counter, n our needs r based upon those threads we have to face.
