Senate approves bill to make Arabic compulsory in educational institutions in Islamabad

90% of Pakistanis in Arab world are cheap labor force and the remaining 10% do white collar jobs where English is used.
Economically Chinese would benefit Pakistan more then Arabic language.
The reason why PMLN is making Arabic mandatory is to please their Arab masters and to misuse jahil awam sentiments who believe with 30K rupee monthly income having 10 kids is a service to Islam and memorizing Arabic textures without understanding a single word is even a better thing.
Pakistan is giant emotional idiotic mess.
The same society will treat pregnancy as a government's top secret project while Quran describes it in detail.

What was the need to post all those bongiyan?

Speaking on the floor of the Senate, Abbasi said that the Holy Quran and daily prayers were recited in Arabic. "Arabic is the fifth-largest language in the world, the official language of 25 countries."

Stressing the need for students to learn the language, he said that the country would not be going through problems had the masses understood the Holy Qu'ran.

Great now people will not only have a new language in their portfolio but also understand their relogion more 😊

But please teach it as English.. and teach English as a ordinary language not the way its taught there..

Actually if you can speak urdu, learning Arabic and Persian is quite easy. Its important for us to learn these languages as the treasure of knowledge related to religion is in these two languages. Without learning them and knowing just English, we are only educated to earn livelihood. To build character, we need to unlock the treasure of Muslim literature in Persian. To learn Arabic is to understand Quran better.

Their are more non arab speaking Muslims then arabs so are they of lesser muslim? Also what accomplishment have these arabs achieved for Islam or for the world in past 100 year?
Learning Arabic is waist of time and resources because the same time can be utilized into something better for betterment of the society.
There are many other ways to serve Islam instead of devoting your entire life learning Arabic just so that you could understand Islam better.

Not only are you a PMLN worshiper but also arab worshiper.

:coffee:No Al-Comment from this Habibi
I strongly disagree with the second paragraph
Understanding of basic Arabic is a must for the understanding of Quran
If one reads translation ,they can get the information but few understanding.
Because the translation of Quran is merely translation
Translation is not Quran
Quran is quran, translation is translation

Quran, is a message from Allah , as you know the language used is Arabic
Had Prophet Mohammad been in Karachi , the language would have been in Urdu but the meaning would be still same.

I do follow Arabic really well , when I read Quran , it feels very similar to "Events being told in a book, or certain stories" sometimes it is instructional

My brain is constantly translating it into Urdu when I read Arabic
There is no "Additional Info" if you read in Arabic unfortunately sorry to disappoint you

>However I do admit listen into Surah AR Rehman , in Arabic is very beautiful it's very poetic
Arabic adds a beautiful charm gives it exotic appeal for a none Arab

It seems a interesting gesture but most people in Pakistan already learn language of Quran , in existing systems in place just they lack understanding vocabulary of words/meaning , so they are not able to understand what is being stated in verses

I find following languages to be valuable if Parents can afford to teach their children in private schools

  • Arabic
  • Chinese
  • Turkish

Well, after churning out dozens of world renowned scholars every day, our education system had to be expanded.

This is what happens when uneducated, illiterate imbeciles create policies on education.

Good.. people need to understand the Quran

Amazes me to see the utter stupid, dumb and even moronic reasons against learning basic Quranic arabic. I mean wow, these so called educated idiots give such stupid arguments that it doesnt even warrant a response and then these same ppl act as patriots and experts in defence matters. Shows the majority libturds and patriots(parrots) are actually low IQ morons who cannot contribute to society and only comment. Most are working in foreign countries in burger king and telling us what to do and what not to do. I didnt know learning a language means being a slave of those ppl or chamcha? By that logic most self praising morons here are slaves and chamchas of west as they only suggest learning English.

.
While the Punjabi kids struggle to read Urdu in curriculum (Same goes for all ethnic languages) we have added another language which is not spoken in anywhere in Pakistan. There is a reason why not every Arab is an authority on Islam or they still follow some aima for the understanding of the Quran. I believe this will only complicate things for kids who are struggling to grasp the curriculum written in non mother tongue.
