What's new

Seeing Two Sides of Himalayas is Like Travelling by Time Machine.

India is a fractitious state on its way out.

By the way Chinese friends, most indians who claim to be something unique like from South Tibet, or other areas, they are usually not.

Indians always pretend to be someone they are not, this Dark1 claims he looks like an Arab, lol.

It's not that bad =\. I can live there if there weren't so many damn people.,

Here's a thought for the Indian blowhards railing against China, and trying to refute the obvious.

A month or so ago, the Indian-born IMF Chief Economist told you that India's GDP per capita was now less than that of 'Manjala' (Bangladesh). Yes India fell behind Bangladesh. In spite of showcase projects like Mars and Lunar missions.

Thanks are due to your incompetent and fascist head-of-state, this is the state of affairs you are now in.

Instead of trying to beat China, try to beat Bangladesh first.

I will let you chew on the following for a while (this was posted in Indian media, BTW)....

I think the biggest curse South Asia's 2 most populous states is hollow ego. These were never nation states to begin with before the British came so the nation state itself was a gift to them and now they don't know how to handle it. They can't see beyond their hollow ego that they are lagging far behind the rest of the world. They are more interested in empty power projection than development. Luckily many other South Asian countries like Bangladesh haven't fallen into this trap and they focus on what's important.

I would say South Asia today would be much more prosperous it was a collection of smaller nations except for maybe few border conflicts here and there.

1. If Indian Army's "Shoot to Kill" rule is still standing, you don't have much "control of your destiny";
2. If you are being called "chinki" elsewhere in your own country, you don't have much "control of your destiny";
3. If you still have to live like cavemen having nothing but "freedom" in 21st century, you don't have any "control of your destiny".
1. Partly true. Parts of our state is under the tyrannical AFSPA law under which the army can shoot you with no questions asked. But I guess Tibetan and Uighur also face similar laws?
2. You are partly correct, but we manage. Recently I read up on the Yi ethnic group ( who we likely descended from) in China.. it seems they also face discrimination .
3.You are 100% correct, most of our people live like caveman and die from simple sicknesses due to lack of resources. But the entire country is poor.. it will take time?

1. There is no such law anywhere in China, it's simplly unimaginable to Chinese;
2. For sure there are cases of discrimintion in China, but most likely it's due to certain behaviors rather than against certain minorities as a whole;
3. It's unacceptable to Chinese gov that parts of China were still in extreme poverty, hence the "Targeted Poverty Alleviation“ drive since 2016. Millions of CPC members have been dispatched to villages, especially remote minority areas, to help locals find a sustainable way to rid of poverty. Millions of free houses have been built and distributed, furbished with running water, electricity, internet, appliance and furniture. Not to mention schools, hospitals, job training and employment opportunities were also built and provided. There is a term, "直通村”,meaning "transform a primitive village straight to a modern community".

China has studied and adopted working social governance models from Singapore, South Korea, Japan, etc.

India seems to be only capable of boasting largest democracy title with countless deficiencies, shortcomings and imperfections in it.

They wait the system somehow miraculously solve its inherent problems with no input or hard work.
