Also, N Korea faces no threat. The only threat faced is to the Kim regime, who, once their people realize their idiocy, will throw away.

Erm, exactly what did North Korea government did to "deliberately" keeping its people at par with some African countries? North Korea's problem is that it is a resource poor country which was overly reliant on a single trade network and supply chain which collapsed because someone else screwed up. Its story is pretty the same as every other minor countries that suffered because they got caught in the struggle of much more powerful nations.

The drill of the North Korean army looks like cabaret girls dancing, they lift their legs too high and too fast.

I think that's actually a specific style inherited from USSR. There was a documentary on CCTV-1 on military parade styles from different nations. North Korea, being a close ally to USSR, followed their style, hence the high kick and speed.

There was a time when Gambia's head Dawda Jawara threated to invade China with 5000 troopers, I didn't see anyone in China lost any sleep over that.
