I KNOW it that China is quite a distance ahead of India. Chinese society is also a lot more equal in social status. Of course all places of China can't be equally prosperous. But they are far far better than ours. And there is no conspiracy to hide less well off areas.

Rather, China is so safe generally, that one can go to any village and town to visit, which some of my friends have done.

Something I want to highlight:Our media didnt give English report,it is very very inconvenient for us.
We know many people outside China have prejudices towards us and,therefore,we of course dont like post negative news of China.
And,yes,many people here r parochial,I'd like to post some news after the date of coming back from Tsinghua.
