Secret Service agent tackled Chinese security official over nuclear football on Trump's China visit

The whole world is looking at America as a bully and brute, assaulting a sovereign countries officer. Understand redneck!!
Wrong...The whole world is looking at China.

The issue is not that the Chinese security officer was doing his job. If he was not informed of who to look for, then he was poorly trained.

The issue is not that the American Secret Service agent was doing his job. Of course he was doing his job -- protecting his president and all his assets.

The issue is that the Chinese diplomatic corps fooked up. Every country knows the American Secret Service did the right thing.

Again...Do you dispute the fact that we provided the Chinese diplomatic corps with the names and PHOTO IDs of everyone in the US delegation?

I do not know why someone trying hard to prove something despite American Secret Service already denied it?

So wht if they look like tom cruise, you don't settle disputes by beating up your host countries officers. Is this correct protocol my dear redneck? You need some valium to calm down? How does our leadership failed ALLL CHINESE when it is your officer assaulting my officers? It doesn't matter if they look like tom cruise, this is China, our officers have the fcking right to stop anybody even your president, you don't like it, complain to a diplomatic officer NOT BEAT UP PEOPLE LIKE AN INDIOT!!!!

Is your head made of lava rock? It is not okay to beat up people when there is a dispute, you call in the person in charge and complain. The whole world is looking at America as a bully and brute, assaulting a sovereign countries officer. Understand redneck!!

Absolutely none specific information and valid inference here. Rednecks simply eager to claim a victory based on fake news. Just a simple fact, not any source could confirm the Chinese officer involved is a security service. As most murican media cant even tell armed police apart from PLA, these tricky media would surely assume anyone in suit in the Great Hall as secret service.
A more possible version is the presidential military official had already been separated from the delegation contingent for a while, but trying to enter for security concern and raised the scuffle. If they really care about the president and his assets the official should follow closely with the US contingent to exercise his duty,COZ any separation between the president and his asset is a serious danger if their security logic is true. What we are seeing is the dereliction of duty caused the problem which let me doubt the eligibility of US officials. And for the reasons of Comitas Gentium ,its natural for Chinese officals to let them pass after confirmation but rednecks here dont understand.
This is a black mark on the Chinese diplomatic corps and every country in the world is studying it.

Neither authority takes it seriously, but this part is what we could laugh for a year:omghaha:

LOL - "Supal Powal logic" at work again. They crash landed? hahahahhahahahhahaha.

To Chinese people, maybe all Americans look the same.....can you really tell the difference between Obama and Trump just by the way the look? Apparently not, if you are Chinese....

crash-landverb [ I or T ]
UK /ˈkræʃ.lænd/ US /ˈkræʃ.lænd/
land an aircraft suddenly because of an emergency, sometimes resulting in serious damage or injuries:

Crash landing means emergency landing genius, not crashing to the airport. :enjoy:

How they look does not matter, I can't differentiate between you and a monkey too, it's whether you can bring in something without being checked into a venue on a foreign sovereign country. If you think it's some nuclear codes, please complain and inform the diplomatic officer, not beat up the guard. I guess Indians are also prone to violence like raping too?

Wrong according to you....but you seen any dissatisfied foreign dignitary beat up Chinese officers in China? You see whether he is informed or not informed, YOU CANNOT BEAT UP A LAW ENFORCING OFFICER OF ANOTEHR SOVEREIGN COUNTRY. You can complain if you think he is not performing his duties. Understand dmbass redneck? Meth can damage your fragile redneck brain ok, take weed instead. =)

He can do his job by protecting the president not beat up an officer who stops his superior, because of 'manhandling'. No officer in China would suddenly punch someone, at most use his hand to stop him from entering. We fcked up? Omg, even if we can't recognized him, the officer has every right to ask and ascertain anyone, that is his right as an law enforcement officer in his sovereign country, and YOU CAN'T BEAT UP someone because you disagree with it. That's not the protocol, you don't act like an animal in another person's country. Gosh, it's really hard explaining to you indiots!

This is not the first time Chinese security exercised their thuggery, buddy. Remember when Obama was in office and your security officer stopped Obama's National Security Adviser Susan Rice who was just walking to the motorcade?

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-...awkward-g20-start-for-u-s-china-idUSKCN1190AT

The event occurred at the airport, meaning the US delegation just arrived. Rice did nothing wrong when all she did was walking towards the motorcade. The Secret Service had to step in.

Back then, everyone who covered China knew that humiliating the US by way of humiliating Obama was China's juvenile and immature way of asserting herself in the world. There were no 'accident' or 'misunderstanding' then. You saw a way to harass a black woman and you took it.

This time, you tested US and got tossed. The Secret Service sanitized the latest event to allow you some face saving, but now it is Trump, not Obama. The next time, the next guy will get thrown as well.

So yeah...The Chinese security officer did his job. He did what he was told: Try to harass the Americans, go for the 'nuclear football' and see what happens.

And the Secret Service agent did his job: Protect his president and his staff.

Ok, and that gives you the right to beat up an officer of a sovereign country? You want us to beat up some TSA folks?:D. Gosh it's pretty hard to teach a redneck manners.

The airport was on Chinese territory. No disputing there.

You bullied a WOMAN who was not even in your house. Essentially, Susan Rice was ON THE WALKWAY TO THE DOORSTEP OF YOUR HOUSE. Susan Rice did nothing wrong. She was trying to reach the motorcade and your thug stopped her for nothing. Even if she may have walked the wrong path or cross the wrong line, it was the AIRPORT with all the wide open spaces and away from anything top secret to the Chinese. And there were people all around.

“These things do not happen by mistake. Not with the Chinese,” Guajardo, who hosted presidents Enrique Peña Nieto and Felipe Calderón during his time in Beijing, told the Guardian.

“I’ve dealt with the Chinese for six years. I’ve done these visits. I took Xi Jinpingto Mexico. I received two Mexican presidents in China. I know exactly how these things get worked out. It’s down to the last detail in everything. It’s not a mistake. It’s not.”
People noticed. They know what kind of people you got in your diplomatic corps -- thugs.

In '16, you bullied a female aid to the president and got away with it. In '17, you tried to bully an elder aid to the president and your thug got slammed.

I guess that after the whooping China got from the Viets back in 1978-79, and now that the veterans of that embarrassment are gone, China is in dire need of combat experience so they pick fights wherever they could, even with a female diplomat.

hey hey, stop diverting the topic, whether anybody 'bullied' or 'manhandled' someone, you have no right to beat up an enforcement officer of a sovereign country genius. Are we talking about Susan Rice now? Or an American beating up an officer from a sovereign nation because of a perceived manhandling? Hey hey, my viet boy, don't argue for the sake of argument, the Muricans used to gased Viets too, I don't see any human rights tribunal for them right?

Snubbed? So are you going to beat us for snubbing her? Gosh it's really painful talking to thug wannabes.

Our diplomatic corp are thugs? DID WE BEAT UP ANYONE? There might be some misunderstanding or rudeness, but we are not like you THUGS beating up people. Are you coherent or delusional like our indic friends? =)

A US Secret Service agent reportedly tackled a Chinese security official during President Donald Trump's visit to Beijing in November after attempts to block the movement of the "nuclear football."

The nuclear football, officially known as the president's emergency satchel, is a black leather briefcase that allows the US president to authorize a nuclear strike while away from a command center. It is carried by a military aide and is supposed to be in close proximity to the president at all times.

But according to a report from the news website Axios, when Trump met with President Xi Jinping in Beijing's Great Hall of the People, Chinese security blocked the entry of the aide carrying the nuclear football.

A US official quickly informed Trump's chief of staff, John Kelly, who "rushed over" and told US officials, "We're moving in."

As the US delegation started moving into the hall, a Chinese security official "grabbed Kelly," who pushed away the man's hand, according to Axios. It was then that a US Secret Service agent apparently tackled the security official to the ground.

The briefcase was reportedly never touched by a foreign official, with the head of the Chinese security head later apologizing about the incident. Axios said five sources confirmed the brief incident.

Last year, during one of Trump's many visits to his Mar-a-Lago resort in southern Florida, a club member took a photo of a military aide who was reportedly responsible for carrying the nuclear football and posted it on Instagram. The incident raised concerns over whether the briefcase was still the best way for highly sensitive military information to be made available to the president on short notice.

Way to go China, you nearly sparked a diplomatic crisis!

I thought it was incredibly stupid for such an important item to be carried with the president especially when travelling overseas you would expect more internal controls.

No man should be recklessly given opportunity over so many lives. When the president is overseas, the vice president in consultation with a council should have the nuclear launch codes. etc

just as the same stupidity with 600 billion usd in defense spending but no premptive defense in more security guards in american schools.

And what do you think the Chinese president travels with? Do you think Xi travels with a military aide in whose diplomatic luggage have something similar to the American president? Have you consider the possibility that as being a nuclear weapons state, a leader traveling overseas does not have war authorization access is itself a stupid idea?

No man should be recklessly given opportunity over so many lives. When the president is overseas, the vice president in consultation with a council should have the nuclear launch codes. etc
Actually, the VP does have his own access to the nuclear launch codes. That is just in case the president overseas is incapacitated in some ways. It is 'reckless' only in your need to criticize US, not that you devoted any time to actually think about the subject.

Time for some meth again bruh?

Maybe it is YOU who are on meth.

The security officer should consider himself fortunate. Any attempt to touch or retrieve that briefcase and he would have been dead in seconds.

You are telling US that John Kelly, current Chief-of-Staff and former USMC 4-stars general, is unknown to Chinese security?

Longstanding friction between Trump and H.R. McMaster and John Kelly has grown to a point that either or both might quit soon, according to four senior administration officials.

I think this helps make the US a less terrible and scary place than it really is by subduing some potentially crazy minded people (with most likely some 'military' experience of shooting at civilians in Iraq or Afghanistan or Somalia.
