Secret Service agent tackled Chinese security official over nuclear football on Trump's China visit

Laid hands? as in slap him? If someone tap him and tell him something is wrong, that is laid hands? You are in China, governed by our laws...this is not Texas cowboy. Btw, not sure you are even American or Vietcong.
Your security officer literally grabbed John Kelly, the president's Chief of Staff. Kelly pushed him away and the Secret Service agent threw the Chinese security officer to the ground. Chinese officials eventually apologized, admitting they were in the wrong.

Grabbed? like wanna punch him? According to who? CNN? Do you have a video? Why would someone suddenly grab someone unless intimated and threatened? Use some common sense. These Americans are forcing their way in China, and the guards were stopping him, then the Americans as usual turn violent. Did we apologized or we tried to defuse tension as always? Think cowboy! You arrogant people, the black/latino/muslim population is growing in US, sooner of later it's gonna be a big gangbanging war in US. =)

We were 'forcing' our way in?

The US President, just like the Chinese President, travels with an entourage, of which contains a military officer who carries a briefcase that contains war authorization codes. The Chinese government knows this. So whenever the US President go, so will his Chief-of-Staff and the rest of the entourage. Everyone in the world have this understanding. But it looks like Chinese security officers who are not informed and insufficiently trained on how to deal with diplomatic situations.

The security officer should consider himself fortunate. Any attempt to touch or retrieve that briefcase and he would have been dead in seconds.

. .
Dead in seconds, is it? How laughable. If anything like that happened neither your president nor his entourage would leave China alive.
Correct, dead in seconds.

Prior to any travel and especially overseas, the Secret Service has a group that moves ahead of the presidential detail. They provide the host country the names and photo IDs of ALL members of the presidential detail. The host country's responsibility is to inform its own security officers of who they are in rank of most important to least. Assistants to the presidents, interpreters, even the names and photo IDs of the Secret Service agents are given to the host country. Have no doubt your China does the same to the US with the same expectations.

You are telling US that John Kelly, current Chief-of-Staff and former USMC 4-stars general, is unknown to Chinese security?

You are telling US that the Chinese security officers were not informed of the identity of the American military officers who carries the president's war authorization codes and what are his duties in relations to the American president?

If it is true that the Chinese security officers who grabbed Kelly did not know who he was, then indeed the Chinese security corps is ill trained.

If he knows, then the Chinese security corps has at least one thug in its rank.

Your pick.

Then present your side of the event.

Why bother? because American accuse Chinese of wrong doing then we will have to prove ourself innocent? we need to prove nothing to them. Americans are just insecure and obsessed with China's rise, they need to fabricate a story about China to divert their real problems while we're quiet and concentrate on China's rise and on important issues.

So essentially, since you cannot prove that the Chinese security officer was in the right, you divert to something irrelevant.

“FACT CHECK: Reports about Secret Service agents tackling a host nation official during the President’s trip to China in Nov 2017 are false,” it said on Twitter.

In a separate statement, the presidential law enforcement agency provided further details about the incident.

“An individual, not part of the official delegation, attempted to prevent one of our protectees from entering a room,” it said.

“A U.S. Secret Service agent quickly intervened and a short scuffle ensued.”
Who was this individual? Certainly must be a Chinese security officer since he was close enough to attempt to prevent the American from entering the room.

However, the Secret Service added, “the individual complied with the agent’s directions and no further action was necessary. At no time did anyone involved fall to the ground. The event continued without incident.”
We can live with that 'official' account. But that still does not absolve the Chinese security corps of what happened.

We will allow the Chinese security corps some face saving measure.
