The Seattle Police Department is being investigated by a city watchdog group after one of its officers was heard on bodycam footage laughing and cracking jokes after responding to the death of a young woman who was struck and killed by another cruiser back in January.

Not as much of a race issue rather an accountability issue. There some cops that know that no matter what they do, they will go free because city will have to pay off and settle the case. There is little to no consequence when these sort of things happen. Most of the time the city just ends up paying the victim’s family due to lawsuit.
