I'm looking foreward to seeing what IAC-1 looks like inside and how it compares. From what I've heard it should be much, much nicer and more advanced.

14 days to sea trial, photo taken on 25th of May. So it should be on 7th/8th of June.

It will definitely look better than this. The fitting and equipments on this one look outdated. :undecided:

Markings completed, so sadly no simultaneous take off an landings, but moreparking space.

It should be, since it's a new developed carrier, not a refurbished. Even if much of the inside is new for the Gorshkov, the main part is designed decades back and you can't change all that again, nor would it be worth it. I am more interested in the technical differences in terms of engines (performance differences), endurance and hangar space between both carriers.

Not just that but the technology built into IAC-1 will also be much more advanced. The finish should be similar to the Shivlaik (in terms of interiors) and should be a true 21st ship.

Sea Trials of INS Vikramaditya Can Be Postponed

Scheduled on May 25, first sortie of aircraft carrier INS Vikramaditya build by Russia for Indian Navy may not be held, a source in defense industry told Central Navy Portal.

Dockside repair and modernization of Indian aircraft carrier INS Vikramaditya under Project 11430 is coming to its end. In accordance with schedule agreed upon with the client, on May 25 the ship is supposed to unberth the Sevmash shipyard's outfitting quay for the first time and take the sea for trials. Currently, the shipwrights are working day and night preparing the ship in order to start sea trials in time.

Central Navy Portal found out that the date of the carrier's first sea-taking may be postponed due to staff changes in Russian Navy command, the need for replacements in governmental commission and some other reasons. According to a source in defense industry, "a time delay is possible, about one week". Therefore, approved and repeatedly named date of May 25 may be postponed for indefinite period.
This is Russia's way of saying "collapsing rupee is no excuse; no money, no delivery."

^^Nothing to do with exchange rate/rupee you trolling fool! Will you give it a rest already? You and your friends going around predicting the oncoming doomsday that is India's collapse. Wait and see, stop building it up.

We should have learned from China. and should have purchased a junk in the name of some private owner. then towed it to our dock and refurbished it to make a Casino.:D
