I don't know something still feels off.

I don't see why Iran would want to be hostile against us, it's literally pointless, and if we wanted we could go at it, but who will really benefit from a weak Iran and weak Pakistan?

Iran has their eyes on a different region, we have our eyes on another. We are just vulnerable if we start a conflict between us.

This is the video I watched about Gwadar..if all the things in this video happen it will be a big step towards solution to Baluchistan issues.. I hope Chabahar development also do its part for Iran side of Baluchistan..both ports will service trade of over a Billion people..that is huge $$$ income for both countries.

To be honest development has been very very slow, it's going to take decades for even a slight impact.

But there has not been any main projects completed in years for port infrastructure, like the Eastbay Expressway or the international airport.

Chinese demand is right for security reasons too. What I heard, is they want irrelevant people out of the Chinese Gawadar industrial and residential zone. So, that will be secured mini Hong Kong, very modern and developed. People work in the industrial zone and mind their business. There is no space for a demonstration. It's the responsibility of govt of Pakistan to deal with public related issues. But our Baluchi people think that all their resources are now under the control of the Chinese and central govt, nothing for them. That is the reason for a massive demonstration by locals on the call of a religious leader, their demands are valid, clean water, school for children etc...very basic
A simple answer of everything ... bring employment and development in the public sector... all terrorism will be evaporated automatically.

About security, apparently there's going to be AI facial recognition cameras to control crime in the developed areas as they continue to develop. China has these in use already.

On top of illegal fishing trawlers emerging from China.

Iranians should take this opportunity and help us bring peace to the area. They can open businesses in Gwadar and create a Pakistani based Iranian owned company and export their goods to the world via Pakistan since Iran is sanctioned. Pakistan and Iran are neighbours so there are many ways they can avoid sanctions and make it happen. You guys sell your goods to the world via Pakistan while Pakistanis are employed in those business and Gwadar gets investment. You guys can use Chabahar as a sister port to Gwadar, ship stuff from Chabahar to Gwadar then label it as Pakistani product so you can export it to the world without fearing sanctions.
Ofc this can only happen when both sides work on making peace in the region and both sides give value to their neighbours over countries sitting far away from them.
If things go down proxy war route, Iran and Pakistan will suffer not india or Saudi. Elements funding these proxies from Iran or Pakistan should think about their state and region first. Don’t rely on Indians too much because if proxy war between the two neighbours start India isn’t going to come to save Iran.
Peace shouldn’t be taken as our weakness though any state which rejects peace with us despite our attempts, shall pay for it dearly.
Two regional power countries working together will make the region better then fighting each other.

Yes I read about that, and completely agree, they should not be taking away the livelihoods of our citizens, there must be a way to work together.

They also delayed the Eastbay Expressway for similar reasons I think.

I am surprised that no one talks about what has to be done to fix the problem..I watch Gwadar port development video and it is very impressive video (you should all watch it if you have not)..lots of thoughts are given to the plans and how to get LOCAL people (that means local Baloch) involved it the developments happening there....The same thing is happening in Iran side with lots of $$$ spent NOW in Baluchistan...With so much money invested in both side it makes no sense for any sane man to try and subvert this activity. except of course for the enemies of Pakistan and Iran.

Some body outside of these two countries does not like what is happening in Gwadar and Chabahar ports and is trying to sabotage the developments..on the Pak side you you better In Iran side I have a good guess ..

From business point of view let me tell you that when these two ports become fully operational and secure they will eat lunch of the the UAE and other southern Persian Gulf ports. I am not saying they are doing the sabotage but they will not be happy to see these two port come on line.

It will take at least a generation of Baluch to feel the economic benefits of being where they are and I can promise you they also will be good citizens of the two countries..not wanting to separate.

I genuinely respect your views and have nothing against Irani people, but when there is a consistant modus operandi by terrorists and they escape across a porous border to Iran we are gonna start wondering and asking questions.

No one wants to see chahabar port or Iran burn or collapse (people who say this bs are mentally ill or have sectarian motivations), however there is something fishy that is going on. Chabahar and IRGC or Irani soldiers aren't facing intense and fierce attacks to the point where we get our soldiers and border guards killed everyday.

This forum is a defence forum and we are obv gonna discuss about this, even the fact that spies and stuff were caught in Karachi.

Iran is no friend of Pakistan, its a well known FACT... I started naming Iranians as enemies when Umar Khattab of CID from Karachi busted Iran backed target killers and fund raiser gang to incite Sectarian violence in Pakistan, even then I was shut down by the same Moderation team, over the years BLA, BRA , Uzair Baloch , Kulbhushan Yadev, cross border attacks and Raids has proven my and few other members right, now many many Posters on the same PDF where once just writing Iran and bad gets to banned has been criticized and people are openly calling them and their allies inside Pakistani society out.

Gwadar Airport, power plant, national grid, water plant etc will be complete before 2025.
