And in past decade or so Pakistani industry is following indian pattern and stepping away from the masterpieces they used to make which were worth watching

Pakistan needs to make content which can be watched by Pakistani avam
Simply putting other counrties TV shows wont help as Childern will follow same thing from these shows as Turkey is too moderate for Pakistani avam , china is other story
Pemra needs to step up a pattern for all channels
Specific time slots for different thing
E.g childern time in evening cartoons, scifi shows , tech shows ,
Cooking shows
Skill shows best for cheapest way for people to learn new things
History shows Pakistan is lacking alot

Talk shows regarding World

and playing Pakistani or some times Good international movies on weekends will help local film industry
Pakistan could follow Japense manga , and animation style too as it will help grow industry and bring them knowledge of modern tech

Without content being available and even if every thing is blocked in Pakistan its just gone leave vacuum which will be filled again by indian shows

Another good timely decision by Supreme Court, after the ban and order of confiscating indian dth products yesterday.
Pakistani population are fine with the ban on indian content. Its channel mafia PBA and advertisers who are the problem.
Pemra had banned Indian content in 2016 but was overturned by same Lahore High Court judge who had blocked DTH in Pakistan to help cable mafia. Both his rulings helped the mafias but did long-term damage to Pakistani artists, producers and halt DTH in Pakistan, which is still in state of limbo. OFf course it has its ramifications on our culture.
Its less to do with india more to do with mafias [landgrabbers, cable operators, etc.. ] operating for last 10 years well-supported by PPP/PML-N daakus. Rapistani content which is a rerun [already aired] is cheap compared to a indigenous production.

Foreign content upto 6% is allowed but many channels were violating it,breaking the state rules. This ban needs to be enforced as the mafias led by foreign funded Dawn and Geo would do anything to discourage Pakistani productions.

Supreme Court has imposed ban on airing Indian contents on Pakistani TV channels.

Hearing the case pertaining to airing of Indian and other countries programmes on Pakistani Channels in Karachi on Saturday, three members bench of Apex Court headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Mian Saqib Nisar also suspended the High Court decision in this regard.

The Supreme Court (SC) on Saturday reinstated a ban on the transmission of Indian content on local television channels, setting aside an earlier verdict by the Lahore High Court (LHC).

Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar was hearing a case filed by the United Producers Association pertaining to the broadcast of foreign content on Pakistani television channels in the SC Karachi registry today.

"They are trying to [obstruct the construction] of our dam and we cannot even ban their channels?" the top judge fumed as he ordered the broadcast of Indian shows to be "shut down" before adding that the authorities should "only air appropriate content".

In 2016, Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) had imposed a complete ban on airing Indian content on local television and FM radio channels.

The decision was largely seen as a tit-for-tat move after similar actions were taken by some channels and the entertainment industry in India against Pakistani content and artists.

In 2017, the LHC had lifted the Pemra-imposed ban, declaring it null and void as the federal government had no objections regarding the same.
