SC imposes ban on airing Indian contents on Pakistani channels

We don't have hindu terrorists allowed to contest elections threaten bookshop owners and bakeries not to have Pakistani names or products. Or bulldoze or set Pakistani cds or books on fire to win municipal elections in some place called Borivli.

So such bans are necessary and quite helpful by the Pakistan state institutions

I totally agree with you. But I have watched some weekend night Pakistani comedy shows where Indian songs are sung by local artists.

Ban should be complete and any Pakistani singer or artist performing on Indian content should be penalised along with the channels.

Lets hope that this ban will help your entertainment industry to flourish. Soon Indian would be copying your content and stop looking for inspiration from U.S. entertainment industry.

For many years and films, Indians stole songs from Pakistani films esp. Punjabi from 70s and 80s. The biggest thieves are Bappi Lahiri, Nadeem Shravan, Anu Malik and many others.
When they can't acknowledge or accept that they lifted Pakistani artist work then PAkistani can also do that.
Reason for ban is not only to stop content but not allow direct monetary benefit to an indian. If it does'nt allow any direct beenfit to indian, am happy with singer singing turkish, iranian or any other song he wishes to.

Still there is an official ban by IMPPA [Indian motion pictures producers assoc.] to not permit producers from hiring Pakistani for any job or another 1.5 years. Hope Pakistani TV producers also follow suit. An indian TV actress Ssara Khan came and did 2 TV serials in Pakistan when Pakistani artists were being banned in india in 2016/17. This action also hurt Pakistani artists.

The truth is that no matter how good Turkish and Arabic content is the people of Pakistan are south Asian after all, they are not Arabs or Turks.

I agree with you 100% that Pakistanis are not Arabs, Turks, or Persians.

We are South Asians. But we are South Asians with a unique identity. We have nothing in common with you Indians.

Can't wait until Lollywood produces some good stuff in Pakistan.

Rofl if ban fails then it will be replaced by another ban in 6 months or more.
The channels and cinemaowners both understand its not a popular decision but a greedy decision to show indian content.
Rofl indian distributors themselves also did'nt sell their prints in Jan. 2017 for a film and the cinemaowners sucked it up.
If they don't divert to local content only they themselves will suffer
PAkistani content also used to be viewed in India by many in the 80s, the signals got masked and with help from local terrorist groups they eventually moved on. Indian content is'nt on the top of the world rofl. Indian content is'nt watched the way Turkish was embraced by Pakistani viewers. Its just cheap money for the lousy channel mafia. This act by SC will help change their behaviour.
