That I know. But check out the recent price in Coxs Bazar. If you want to compare the land price of Motijheel/Dhaka then it will be also in the top of the list in the world. That is what Indians are trying to do.

Last month I inquired a developer regarding a apartment in Coxs Bazar and they asked 7000 Tk/Sq. Feet.

Now what is the per decimal land price in residential area (middle class) of Mumbai??? And what is the per squre feet costing of an middle class apratment there? That should be the measuring scale of real estate comparisn.

Here is a middle class apartment i found in Mumbai for 67 lac rupees 1449 sq feet.

The culture is very conservative, there is virtually no public transport system and owning a car means zilch in midst of rickshaw galore. There is no decent movie hall and latest movies are not released in couple of multiplexes they have etc etc. No nightclubs, bars, pubs how do you guys actually entertain yourselves?

in TK that would be roughly 2.5 crores.
There are many apartments in gulshan that
ranges from 1-5 crores.

And yeah dhaka sucks but I love it, any other
cities don't work me. No night clubs but
plenty of underground concerts, chaos
and activities , not a clean city but an
old busy city. Public transport sucks and thats
the only fault I can find.

The ad says brand new apartments in best place of Uttara! And second hand apartments cost same as 1st hand, 3rd hand or 4th hand. Its not cars with 10 years life cycle we are talking about.

4200 BDT per week is almost 12000 Rs per month, which is affordable to any middle class in Calcutta
