Iraq's main financial backers were the oil-rich Persian Gulf states, most notably Saudi Arabia ($30.9 billion), Kuwait ($8.2 billion), and the United Arab Emirates ($8 billion). In all, Iraq received $35 billion in loans from the West and between $30 and $40 billion from the Persian Gulf states during the 1980s.
40 billions support for saddam in 1980-1988!!! from arab warriors, is equal to how many billions now?
The rest of your nonsense is not worth to be discussed.
You received support from Arab countries such as Syria and Libya. Especially Libya supported you with billions. You received support from Israel and the West as well.
This is absolutely false data. Besides even if we imagine that this number is true it was only a symbolic number back then and even is so today. I imagine that Iran has surpassed this number during their engagement in Syria alone let alone their 13 year old engagement in Iraq.
What I wrote is the absolute truth and logical as well. Besides nobody is interested in invading anybody or ganging up on anybody. It was your very own compatriots that trolled a simple thread about a small naval exercise and turned it into nonsense.
Also what were we supposed to do? Support a hostile regime against an fellow neighboring Arab country? As if Iran would not support Tajikistan for instance against say Uzbekistan. Especially if Uzbekistan bordered Iran and was led by a hostile regime that wanted to take over KSA in order to control the Two Holy Mosques so they could cement their role as guardians, protectors and leaders of the Muslim world.
The Arab world is 10 times bigger than Iran. The size of Russia. Stretching from the Atlantic Ocean in the West to the Arabian Sea in the East and from the Mediterranean in the North to the Indian Ocean in the South (Comoros). KSA alone is 1.5 times bigger than Iran and Arabia over twice as big. Why in the god world would we need to invade Iran? We have almost 500 million people and that number will grow a lot in the coming generations. We do not lack more people either. More people (almost 15 million more) live along the Nile in Egypt (very small geographic area) alone than all of Iran.
It is the Wilayat al-Faqih supporters among Iranians that want to mass-murder every single Arab, even Iranian Arabs that live in Iran peacefully.
