Saudi king invites Hasina to Arab Islamic-American Summit to be attended by Trump

Saudi Arabian Culture and Information Minister Awad Bin-Saleh Al-Awad, who is visiting Dhaka now, handed the invitation letter to Hasina at the Ganabhaban on Tuesday, Prime Minister's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim told reporters.
The summit, to be attended by US President Donald Trump and heads of state and government of Muslim countries, is being dubbed 'historic'.
This is the US president's first tour abroad since he took oath in January. The schedule of the tour is yet to be announced.
Karim said the prime minister is expected to attend the summit.
The Saudi minister hoped that the Bangladesh prime minister would attend the summit, he said.
Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali, Prime Minister's Office Secretary Suraiya Begum and Prime Minister's Military Secretary Major Gen Mia Md Jainul Abedin were also present at the meeting.
