The Middle East is a mess. Why should we get involved in this mess? Our situation is dire as it stands, with resources already stretched. We can't be expected to get involved in more conflicts when we have Indian soldiers firing into our borders from the east and their lovely warlord allies in Afghanistan giving them full support to harass us from the west. Maybe our allies should have stood with us more resulotely at that time, bothered to mention Kashmir at least once at the international stage, or at least provided financial assistance of the sort Egypt receives, 12.5 billion being offered by the gulf states as one deal for example not to mention funded purchases of the latest military goodies (

But they looked after their own interests at that point just as any country does. They can't hence fault us now for taking care of our own interests first.

Let's see how much Pak officials will resist against being dragged in another Afghanistan-like shitstorm. Past months have shown that Pakistani officials care more about domestic issues rather than being bought with petrodollar to fight another one's war.

Rest assured we will not pick any sides nor will get involved into any conflict. Already Imran Khan who is the leader of the 2nd largest political party met with both Saudi and Iranian ambassadors. Let's see how we can dislove this crisis between two Muslim countries.

What ur take about deal what it should be ??Vibes in media even political parties of Pak shows that they all agred upon deal .

This is not for Yemen. They are quite happy in Yemen this is for Iraq to defeat ISIS and gain Sunni Support in both Iraq and Syria and indirectly keep Iran in check.

I agree when ever this gang of ISIS will smash in Iraq and Syria they will spill into neighboring countries more prone wil be turkey ,Jordan and saudia which share Borders with Iraq and Syria like Talibans when they smashed in Afghanistan they spilled into Pak that the concern among GCC states it will be nightmare for them both economic and security point of view .sooner or later ISIS gona loose ground they holding so they will spill to neighbours .

Well Pakistan also needs subsequent leverage to neutralize Iranain proxies and future abuse as they have a tap on our IP pipeline...Saudi has a very strong diplomatic leverage and economic power..doubt Iran can match it with a competitive offer...Iran is literally nothing in ME games!!
