ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Saudi Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Sunday pledged to strengthen bilateral cooperation in different fields.

Prince Mohammed, who is also his country’s defence minister, called on Mr Sharif here at the PM House after he made a stopover in Islamabad on his way to China for a three day-visit beginning on Monday.

The two sides discussed issues of mutual interest in both regional and international spheres, said a press release issued by the Prime Minister’s House.

Earlier, the Saudi defence minister was greeted by his Pakistan counterpart, Khawaja Asif, and officials of the Foreign Office at the Nur Khan Air Base.

Prince Mohammed bin Salman is likely to meet Chief of Army Staff Gen Raheel Sharif in Rawalpindi on Monday, security sources said.

Bcz the najran province is in trouble in saudia. Houthis are on the outskirts of najran city itself and have entered 15km inside the saudi land and r uploading embarrassing and funny videos of saudi soldiers just running away instead of putting up a fight (they don't even know how to run away). So they want us to defend their territorial integrity as promised by Pakistan. And i don't think we should say no this time otherwise we would definitely lose the arabs as an ally. All we have to do is defend their land and take back the lost territory, after all its just 15km of barren land (extremely difficult to fight and hold though).

But still we should NOT send our forces in to yemen itself and never ever to syria too (and not even should get involved there). Both wars are not going anywhere soon and are stalemates.

$83 billion army runs away after hearing the first shots. What a shame. But officially they are not even accepting that the houthis are on the outskirts of najran city and an Apache has been lost too. But we have to fulfill our commitments with them.

Training is enough. Plus, US has also pulled Yemen war advisors...

I really don't care. If Saudis pay good money, Bomb the shit out of Yemen and Syria. Pakistan got bigger fish to fry. Pakistani defence and economy both need serious money.

They spend $80 billion on their joke army. Tell them, give us $80 billion for next few years and clean the rubble from Syria and Yemen yourself after Pakistan bomb the shit out of these places.

And what will you do once the Yemenis pay good money to "bomb the shit" out of Pakistani civilians or namely your family?

Because lets face it, noone gives a shit about Pakistan unless someone kills your own family member there.

Are you high again? :drag:

Where in Yemen? I don't know if any Pakistani left there.

Saudi policy has gotten Pakistan to become the laughing stock in the world. It's own territory is being bombed all because it looked the other way.

Now you're willing, encouraging, Pakistan to get involved in another conflict that it has no necessity to be in, one similar to it urging the Turkish government to stay out of in Syria, where a $80+Billion army can;t win and gets haggled weekly over civilian causalities?

Pakistan's isn't flushed with oil money to blackmail the UN....

Money is tight, especially when it has to pay 22 ministers to travel around the world "educating' it about India's atrocities in Kashmir.

We have to send our Army but Iran won't like it we have to be ready to give a diplomatic answer to them

Pakistan's problem is due to split personality decision, and U turns in policy. Reason Iranian, Saudis, American and Israelis get anyway with bombing other countries and not have a blowback is due to everybody in their country and parliament is on same page. There intel agencies launch proxies and follow through till the end. Not like Pakistan where Establishment wants to do something, Govt something else. 3 different types of mullahs misleading people to their own form of righteousness. When rest the world sees discount within Pakistan, they exploit these fracture points via, funding political and media groups, sectarian links or direct supporting terror groups. Once govt decide, we will help. Tell Saudis enough of brother Umma thing. Send us the $80 billion for next few years. Go tell the already fractured countries, to lay down their AKs, If they refuse. Bomb and capture. Let the GCC take over and put GCC and Pakistan friendly govt there.

Rental army how nice.... The Saudis have lost $150+Billion just to bankrupt Iran, you want them to give you another $80+Billion out of their rainyday slush fund?

They will get buthurt for little while just like they did in 90's but they don't bring anything to table for Pakistan. Pakistan needs to look after itself.

It's none of our business. US bombed Iraq and GCC paid for every nut and bolt next 10 years. If they pay, Jets fly.

Pakistan has the capacity and capability to bomb, clear and train the new democratic set of Syrian and Yemeni Army. But if you're good at something, never do it for free!

Iraq has about what ~15% of the World's Oil reserves?

Add Kuwait's ~10%, and you got ~25%.

Oil is already highly monopolized by a few States that have a balls death grip on the world. The Saudis are nice, willing to play ball. Saddam was a loose cannon, Iraq's occupation of Kuwait would have made it the 4rd largest proven oil reserve gas pump in the world. It's too concentrated for anyone's liking.

America was going to do something about it, the Saudis were too eager to get a buffer, hence free payment, at a price probably inflated too.

I used to say that too, when I was in High School. "Pakistan would have brought democracy to every fu<king Middle Eastern country and Afghanistan if it was paid $1 trillion."

But then the real world hit me....
