Iran has already done that by ordering its militia in Yemen to attack ships in the redsea by using suicide boats which resulted in damaging an armship, so that's why I think the turst level between the two governments is belw the Zero hence there must be somthing offical to make sure not violant act such as using suicide boat takes place in the Arabian Gulf

Then Saudi Arabia has declared war against the world by saying it's terrorist militia(ISIS) to attack and bomb in other countries, if you say so.

An Iranian fisherman was shot and killed on Saturday by the Saudi coastguard, which accused him of entering Saudi waters, Iran’s interior ministry said, fuelling tensions between the regional rivals.

“Two fishing boats were in the Persian Gulf and strayed due to high waves. The Saudi coastguard say the boats entered Saudi waters and killed one of the fishermen,” Majid Aghababaie, head of border affairs at the interior ministry, said in a statement published by Iranian media.

“We are pursuing this matter to determine if the Iranian boats had crossed the Saudi border or not, but the action of the Saudis does not comply with humanitarian and navigational principles,” Aghababaie said.

“Even if the boats had entered Saudi waters, the coastguard were not authorised to open fire,” Aghababaie added.

Foreign ministry spokesman Bahram Ghassemi issued a similar statement.

Saudi coast guard kills local fisherman, says Iran TV
Iran's state TV is reporting that an Iranian fisherman has been killed by Saudi Arabia's coast guard last night.

Iran’s official IRNA news agency later quoted Aghababaie as saying one of the boats was missing.

“We have no news concerning one of the boats,” he said.

The incident comes amid increased tensions between Sunni-led Saudi Arabia and its arch rival Iran.

Iran and Saudi Arabia accuse each other of subverting regional security and support opposite sides in conflicts in Syria, Yemen and Iraq.

The tensions flared after twin attacks on 7 June on the parliament and the shrine of revolutionary leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini in Tehran in which 17 people were killed.

The Islamic State (IS) group claimed responsibility.

But Iran’s elite Revolutionary Guard has accused Saudi Arabia of involvement in the attacks.

Iran’s Intelligence Minister Mahmoud Alavi has also put the blame on Riyadh.

“Saudi Arabia is sponsoring terrorist groups in Iran,” he said on Thursday.

Saudis blamed for attacks
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif also pointed the finger at Saudi Arabia, during a visit to Norway this week.

“We have intelligence that Saudi Arabia is actively engaged in promoting terrorist groups operating on the eastern side of Iran in Baluchistan,” Zarif said.

The incident also comes as the Gulf faces one of its worst diplomatic crises in years.

Earlier this month Saudi Arabia and several of its allies cut ties with Qatar, accusing it of supporting extremist groups, including some backed by Iran.

Qatar denies the allegations.

Iran has urged its Gulf neighbours to engage in a dialogue to resolve their dispute.

It also sent several planeloads of food to Qatar earlier this month after the Gulf countries cut off air links with Doha.

Saudi Arabia also sealed its land border with Qatar, which relies heavily on imports for food and raw materials.

Iran will probably make it's rage felt where it hits the Saudis, in Yemen. A MANPAD, maybe a short range Anti-ship missile slipped in to mess up a Saudi ship.

Iran always has a proportional response. This was not a major attack, so Iran's response is likely to be unconventional.

You see my worry comes from the possibility that Saudia Arabia itself has issued a top-down command of "use hostile action against anything Iranian", this sort of doctrine change is very concerning. It's essentially a informal declaration of war. I'm waiting for the Iranian parliament to finally call this what it is, a war. IRGC and other Iranian military/security elements have a phenomenal job so far, but a harsher tone needs to be taken (truth be told I don't know if a harsher tone has been taken or not, I'm just commenting on what I see).

The US navy would have blown that ship up right quick if they did that to us, or at least badly damaged it.

How can we make sure that the Iranian boats in the Arabian Gulf are not suicide ones but fishing boast? We can't unless the Iranian goverment sign an agreement with KSA to fight any violance act and drug smuggling in the Arabian Gulf.

First of all, Persian Gulf
put that on your small brain if you have brain
secondly, I am sure you never saw the Persian gulf otherwise you know that there is big difference b/w wide and slow shipping boat
and narrow and fast smuggling and more fast military boat.

It is impossible to use one of the boats for other usage.

I am sure they killed poor fisherman to send message to Tehran; Tehran should act wisely and don't increase mutual tension.

Saudis are drowning in their mistakes and they like to pull us in their problems.

their oil wells are in bad condition b/c of their Irresponsibility in bringing out oil during Iran sanctions.
they almost destroyed their wells and current conflict b/w Saudis and Qataris mainly come back to Saudis need for Gas to save their wells.
Qatar Gas is their only choice to survive in middle time.
