Saudi Arabia, Turkey Discussing Unlikely Alliance To Oust Syria's Assad

I see some serious problems coming for Turkey. Because the prefered method of overthrowing al-Assad has been the arming, training and funding of international Jihadists. The FSA is a joke. I read there are about 20000 foreign Jihadist in Syria and Iraq today. A lot of them came through Turkey and some of them were even armed and trained in Turkey.

Now one of two things will happen. Either these Jihadist win then Turkey will have a Jihadistan on its border and the 1,7 million Syrian refugees inside Turkey will become something of a permanent feature. Or these Jihadist will lose. In that case when their "caliphate" is destroyed these foreign fighters will scatter. They will try to go out the same way they came in which is through Turkey. Then Turkey will be stuck with thousands of battle hardend Jihadist inside its borders. You add to that mix the Syrian refugees and the malcontented Kurds and you will have a explosive mix. Now were did we see all this before of course in Pakistan in the 1980's where they supported the Mujahideen in Afghanistan against the Soviets.

You sound as if Turkey was a lawless place, those jihadists who come throught Turkey either come in as Tourist and go to Syria as fast as possible or get caught and either prisoned or deported to their origin countries.
Lets say thousands of Jihadists at once enter Turkey somehow illegally, what are the gonna do? Them firing one bullet means their total destruction, its isnt like Iraq or Syria where they can capture lands and build caliphates.

I don't understand, for decades Turkey refrained from joining ME issues. And after all years, Turkey barely joined in ME issues, (let me to remind, we are not the ones who has it's soldiers in a foreign country.) and everyone saying (They want to bring Ottomans back, he wants to be the caliph..... etc...)

If Turkey wants to be a caliphate, what does Iran wants to be with sending it's soldiers all over the ME countries like Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, etc...

We didn't even lift our finger yet, and you are making so much fuss.
You don't send soldiers because you already have thousands of paid mercenaries there .

If there wasn't Turkey , there wouldn't be anything called Syrian opposition and there wouldn't be war in north Syria .

So yes , as long as Uzbiks and Chechens fight for super sultan erdogan , you don't need any forces on the ground .

Your caliphate has been waiting to pray in Aleppo mosque for 3 years , you remember his speech ?

Yes yes......typical jealousey against Pakistan and pakistani people...beware of that day when you get squeezed by Turkey from one end Pakistan from the other end, you cowards should be thankful to Pakistan that they are still showing restraint, otherwise we know what we can do against your so called mighty army.
Jealousey of what exactly ?

Yeah, it won't happen but if it happens it will be over very quickly. Assad and his gang will be hanged. ISIS will be cleansed. Rule of the Syria would be given to moderate rebels. order would be restored.....

U.S was saying the same before attacking Afghanistan and Iraq. Wishful thinking.

I don't think this will work. Syria has 22 million population, not a small country, plus it's armed to the teeth by Russia and Iran. Heck, Sadr has deployed tens of thousands of Shia Mahdi Army soldiers to Syria. Even if a million rebel fighters get killed in Syria, Assad would still be in Damascus.

. . . . . .
The Saudis have their hands full with the Yemeni intervention..I don't think they are capable of multiple wars at a time. They are not the US or Israel..

Thanks for the honesty bro .

Only if a US led coalition goes in with ground forces they can make a major change.

Then why hold back for the last 4 years.. Lets face it Turkey and Saudi Arabia won't confront Syria directly until big daddy USA gets involved..
