Cooperation is a good thing. I am all for it. I hope SA recruits BD personnel in their security forces.
SA is in a critical juncture where they may be undergoing a recalibration their future geo-strategic stance. BD must stand with it as one of the critical Muslim global player but more importantly a critical market for us. A tighter alignment with SA is in BDs interest.
NO.
If you wish good for them, you can wish for them to learn to wipe their own *** for once. BD personnel are not mercenaries and must not be deployed as mercenaries. This practice destroys the military from within. Our forces are only for the defense of our country and nothing else.
BD MUST NOT stand with SA or any other so called "Muslim power". BD must stand for itself only. If there is a need for a "Muslim power" in the world, I don't see the reason why BD must support some other country or nation to be that power. What ingredients BD lack other than a spine as a Muslim country that it can't envisage ITSELF as a major Muslim power?
PS: I urge you to try and establish a link between quarterly Saudi investment news and military co-operation news. I established this link long ago. Basically, the investment is the carrot, kicking out BD workers from Saudi is the stick and BD is the donkey. What they wanted for a while now is our troops to do their fighting in Yemen like mercenaries. Their quarterly blabber about big investment in BD started around the time Saudi-Yemen war started.
